Milkybar454
I had recently purchased a manufacturer refurbished Scimitar Pro on eBay and right out of the package and plugged in I noticed there was no press down on the scroll wheel. The mouse wheel just stayed still with no tactile feedback. The only way a mouse wheel click does happen is once an hour while scrolling down where the wheel suddenly feels like it snags onto something and and then inputs a middle click. Wondering if there is any way to fix this issue or I should just ask the seller for a return. Thank you.
Milkybar454
I opened the mouse up and found the issue. Apparently the plastic appendage that clicks the button when I press down on the scroll wheel is broken. Wondering if I could fix this with superglue... Metazolid
I doubt any super glue will have enough strength to hold the two pieces together, since you're applying vertical force on a vertical weakpoint. I suggest to either replace the wheel, or drill a hole into the center in which you can then set a new shaft. This will give it enough strength to last longer than gluing the piece back in place.
