DLX
Ready to purchase an SSD. I've heard conflicting things on how much space you can fill before performance degrades - regardless of trim and g/c. Is there a threshold you should not go over (50%, 75%, 85%)? My current C drive that I would clone is about 100gb full (OS, programs, games) and more games will use more space. Any feedback (and real world experience) is much appreciated; and apologies if this is covered elsewhere in the forums.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 8, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 8, 2010 It is the same for HDD's and normally more than 80% full they will start to slow down. I would suggest you use the SSSD just for the O.S. and to boot the system and all other applications should be installed on another drive for best performance.
