Question How do I allow my HS70 to mic mute across all profiles?

I bought the HS70 today and because I use the Scimitar Pro, I have profiles set for every game and program I use (including Chrome) with different macros for each game/program. Unfortunately, the HS70 auto links to these profiles and if I'm in a game and decide to mute my mic, then tab over to chrome, it turns my mic back on because it's changed the profile.

This is a serious problem and if it can't be resolved then I'll be returning the headset and buying a different brand since that's the only way to avoid this conflict.

Thanks for your help <3

You will need to set the microphone to be mute for each profile separately or use the mic mute button on the headset.

??? What? You just explained how I mute my mic, not how I avoid the issue that is when I press my mute button then change programs, my mic is re-enabled because of the profile switching being tied to my headset as well as my mouse. I know how to mute my mic. I don't want to have to mute my mic 3+ times just to unmute it minutes later another 3+ times.
