I'm about |------| <this close to reporting Corsair to the BB. Maybe this will help thier US business. I would highly suggest you do that, Ensor (assuming you live in the states). I suspect you would get a solid response from the BBB within 14 business days, which is far faster than Corsair would provide any meaningful response. Here's a link to get you started.

I've been contacted by Customer Support and perhaps we can work something out.

I'm pleased that at least Corsair called me, I didn't really fancy going into an IVR queue on an international phone call. I'm not in the US.

We shall see how all this unfolds.

You can install skype and call the toll free number for free and I would not expect you to wait more than a few min for our customer service to answer they are really quick on the phone and we will be happy to call you back anywhere if you are unable to use Skype for some reason.

I was contacted by phone by a Corsair representative, on April 13th. We agreed I'd send the receipt and such by email, and the unit would be picked up free of charge. So I sent off the receipt and such.

I didn't hear from Corsair after that, so on the 25th I asked for a status update. Corsair responded by requesting to send the unit. However, contrary to our agreement I would have to pay for the postage. I sent a mail requesting clarification, but got no answer. I rappelled on the 27th, and got no answer.

You know, if I send off this unit and pay for the postage, I'm bound to receive a "replacement" which will be refunded soon as I send it back, paying for the postage, after which...

Just so we have a timeline, mid January I payed for what amounts to an expensive paperweight (incidentally the unit is not heavy enough for even that job) and it is now the first of May. That's 3 1/2 months.

Im sorry I know they do return postage within the US and brain farted about the global community, but I have to give a A+ to corsair tech and service support even if the engineering dept lacks the proper support we all want.
