illestko
Hello guys, Could any of you memory gurus help tell me what the differences are between the following? I purchased a 32GB kit (2x16GB) off Amazon Model #CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 And what looks like an identical CyberMonday deal off Corsair.com Model # CMW32GX4M2E3200C16 Both are the black DIMMs (in case that matters) The only difference I can tell is the Amazon one has a C and Corsair has a E before 3200C16. Is there any compatibility issues that may arise with my build? CPU 9700K Asus Strix Z390-E (supports up to 64GB). Thank you in advance!
JonKrmr
I would not recommend using these two kits together. The "C" kit has 16-18-18-36 timings and the "E" kit has 16-20-20-38 timings. They are different kits. Along with getting the same part number kit, you also need to make sure the additional kit you get is the same version number (4.35, 5.25, etc.)

Thanks good to know! I guess ill have to sell either of the sets
JonKrmr
I would say keep the "C" kit and sell the "E" kit.
