Pwncakes
Hello there! This is my first PC Build and I'm kinda confused. The PC Case I bought is the iCUE 465X RGB which comes along with the Light Node CORE pre-installed into the case. I separately bought the 3 pack LL120 RGB which comes with the Node Pro + an extra 6 fan hub (another core?). Finally I have my H100i Cooler for my CPU, but I will take out the fans and put it in the front of the case behind the 3 LL120 Fans. So, in order to connect all the fans, what do I need to use? Just connect all the 6 LL120 Fans into the pre-installed Node CORE and that's all? Or use the Node Pro as well? My motherboard is the Aorus Z390 Ultra. Please, if you could help me, it would be awesome! Thanks!
Zotty
hi buddy.. yes you would plug all 6 fans into the lighting node core. http://i.imgur.com/Xx60jRAl.png You would need to tell iCUE the Lighting Node Core has 6 LL fans connected Note this is for RGB control only.... always worth the read... https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880&t=173880 and always worth the watch https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbEI4CtrMKb1LqMJgYHC09A/videos

So, I just install all the 6 fans into the pre-installed CORE on the 465X case. What about the extra 4-Pin PWM that goes into the motherboard then for each fan? I need to get fan splitters, or I can use the corsair fan hub that comes with the 3 Pack LL120 which I bought?
DevBiker
The 4 pin PWM connectors should go to the motherboard headers or a Commander Pro (optional). The Fan Hub that came with the LL fans is for RGB only. You may need splitters ... you may not ... depends on the number of headers on your motherboard. Zotty
My advice is read up on the Commander Pro.. it really is the heart of the system, this would bring both fan power and RGB control into one piece of software,, along with 2 more internal 9 pin usb headers and 4 thermal probes for case temp monitoring.. much better than having to use motherboard software imho
