That's so cute man, with that sweet rig though I'm sure the thermals are good either way. Looks so comfy there.

Yet another MSI update was recently released for our motherboards 7A66v18.

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/suppo...-PRO-CARBON-AC

When will we receive the updates? It's now five updates released since my current version with still no Live Updates.

It's ongoing. I wish I had a more definite answer for you.

Here wondering the same thing. BIOS is 4.QF here too, OG C1 Pro with the MSI GeForce
1080.. let's get some more answers soon, please? And how about the Intel Drivers? Safe to keep updating them thru Intel's Driver Utility/DSA?

Thanks guys.

An update would be awesome on the status a BIOS update and some drivers to patch the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities.

We are currently qualifying a new bios to address the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. We are aiming to release the bios next month.

Will you offer a bios update solution without Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities fix? Im asking because of performance related issues with the fix

We are in the process of testing various BIOS for the security fix, the performance differences are minimal so far.

It's been nine months since this thread opened. Since then, the Z270I motherboard has received numerous improvements. Critically to me, it seems they've enabled iGPU support, which means you can use the unused silicon on our 7700s to render video via quick sync.

I'd very much like to use this feature, which is pretty much standard on any modern motherboard supporting this CPU. I'd also like for Corsair to be more forthcoming about the delay. A moderator indicated that there was a bug in the BIOS update, but it seems like they were able to deploy the Spectre fix (albeit not through the live update).

I'd applied that update, but I don't think it's based on a newer z270I BIOS. It seems likely that it is mostly a patched version of an older BIOS? I still can't find any options to enabled integrated Intel graphics drivers in the BIOS settings.
