Default Strafe - 6YHB Keys Not Responding

Hi All.

I have a Strafe RGB which recently had a relatively small amount of water spilled onto it. I drained it as best I could and upon advice, left it upside-down somewhere warm and dry for a week.

The RGB lights are fine and most keys work with the exception of 6YHB (and possibly F4), they are all sat in a vertical-ish line so I figure they are related.

I've taken they keyboard apart to see if i could find any physical damage but my inexperienced eyes cant see anything amiss so i'm pretty clueless over whether there is anything more I can do about this.

Can anyone advise?

Many thanks

Check the resources/threads at /r/MechanicalKeyboard as they may help.

Thanks for the suggestion, i've checked it out.

Some good resources there, the spillage guide seems to be a bit more geared towards greasy/sugary spills. It was only water that i spilt so im reluctant to go and buy a bottle of isopropyl alcohol as the guide's next step is suggesting. Is that definitely the next step?

I feel that the switches are probably ok given the location of spillage to the location of malfunctioning keys

The warranty is void (Due to water damage) so the next step is totally up to you.

Search the reddit subsection for water damage related threads and see whether you can find anything useful from it.
