Krisius
Hi guys, recently i have this problem when I want to reinstall the Windows on a SSD Force 3 Series 90Gb: I deleted the whole partition and made as one big unallocated space, then create a single partition of the whole SSD's capacity, normaly windows will create the partition plus an 100Mb system partition. In my case, besides the big partition, the 100Mb system partition, there are another 2 unallocated 0Mb partitions... I have updated the firmware and this didn't resolve this problem, the SSD works and there's nothing suspicious in its performance but I want to resolve the unallocated space problem, can somebody help me with this? Cheers!
Toasted
-Try and secure erase the SSD, Then see if the 2x0mb partitions are listed in the Windows installer. (Note that a Secure erase will permanently delete data on the SSD).
Krisius
Is parted magic an OK software to do a secure erase of my SSD? Or do you recommend some other tool? Cheers
