Zdrack
https://soundcloud.com/mikeburton/psu-sound So I just built a new computer and when the PSU (Corsair HX Professional Series 750-Watt 80 Plus) fan starts up it begins making this sound. It currently is set up with the fan down, but have not yet had time to flip it the other way around to see if that makes a difference. Any help as to what would be causing this would be appreciated. Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted December 12, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 12, 2014 Wow! Ok.. Clearly SOMETHING is hitting the fan. First, make sure it's not just the fan dislodged from the hub. I do that by pressing down on the center of the hub with a pencil with an eraser. If you hear a "click" as it seats, you've figured that part out. Next, you want to check for an interference from a wire. That will be a litte tougher. Sometimes you can just "poke" the wire away with the tip of your pencil. But if that doesn't seem to help, you should RMA the PSU.
