BlueSpot Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Hi. I had an pc since 2006. I have 1gb ram. Now i have bought Corsair Value S. PC3200 DDR-DiMM 2GB but it wont work. BlueSpot Posted February 5, 2011 Author Share Posted February 5, 2011 Now i tried to reset the bios and many settings..like 3-3-3-8 2T 2.7v 400 MHz When i put only one ram inside it starts up, but right before it is about to start loading windows the pc restarts.... When both ram is inside the lights and fans starts but the screen dosnt recive any signal... Worked with this for 9 hours now :S Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted February 8, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 8, 2011 With just one of the new modules installed please go to BIOS setup and load setup defaults and then set the memory Voltage to 2.75 Volts then disable Legacy USB and test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure one is not failing.
