LL120 rgb fan, i need help ?

I recently just purchased this fan to just add a little more rgb flare.

I plugged the 4 pin hole plug from the fan and it's running fine, but the "to rgb hub" I'm not sure where to plug it on the motherboard to make it function correctly? I plug it into 12v grb 4 pin and it works but not properly, only half the fan is rgb and the other half in like "breathing" red color, dark than light dark than light.

What do I need to do or is the fan not functioning properly?

Hey, hey!

You need the RGB Fan Hub where the RGB Cable goes, and a Lighting Node Pro to a USB 2.0 motherboard header for software control.

Corsair fans are not for motherboard RGB Headers, and connecting them to the wrong voltage header may fry the lighting.

See this thread for more information on connectivity and hardware requirements for Corsair RGB Fans.
