M90 Profile Problem

Last night I used my M90 for the first time in Hardware Playback mode and I set up Profile 1 for Left 4 Dead 2. All of my keystroke assignments worked fine, but when using the 15 button for reload, sometimes I would hit the the 10 button and my profile would change which meant lossing my button assignments. So from another post I decided to change my Profile Up button to 5 and Profile Down to 6 and reassigned DPI Up to 4 and DPI Down to 7, with 10 and 11 now No Function. Everything seemed to go well when setting up the software (see attachment). When I tried Profile 1 in game my new DPI assigned buttons worked fine, but when I tried Profile Up (5) it would move to Profile 2 but no further and Profile Down (6) did nothing. To get the profiles to move up I needed to use 10 and to get the profiles to move down I needed to use 11.

Somethings not right here.

OK, I just went to Device Manager and this is what it shows. I'm not really sure if it's showing the correct driver and the date doesn't jive with what I've recently, supposedly, installed.

Yes, "i" shows I'm using firmware 1.11 and software 1.00.00.29, but it doesn't match what Device Manager shows, I thought the .29 driver would show an August 2012 date and not an April 2011 date.

I also got an interesting idea from a thread over at overclock.net and that it might be that I need to create dummy profiles for all 6 stored M90 profile slots, and that might prevent Profile Up and Down from defaulting back to the 10 and 11 buttons. Going to give that a shot.

Alrighty, setting up all 6 onboard profiles for games I've yet to play, and assigning Profile Up/Down and DPI Up/Down to the same buttons in all 6 profiles did the trick. I'm really starting to like this software, and I think this is going to be a great fps mouse. My only real complaint is that I wish the M90 was a bit bigger.
