Patishi Posted January 4, 2020 Share Posted January 4, 2020 Hello everybody, This is somewhat weird question but I would like to change the Default ML fans with two Antec Prizm 120mm fans just for the RGB (to be synchronized with the other fans in my build). Can I simply connect them straight to the fan header cable that comes out of the pump (like the default installation)? ...obviously the RGB cable will connect to the Antec controller instead of corsair's. I want to keep controlling them with the iCUE software just like I do now, I like the default curves. I am just not sure if corsair own fan curves are intended to work only with their fans (RPM stuff..). Or maybe I should just connect the Prizm fans straight to the cpu fan header on the mobo. DevBiker Posted January 4, 2020 Share Posted January 4, 2020 As long as they are PWM fans, you can typically just connect them to the fan headers on the cooler. I say "typically" because there are 1 or 2 specific brands/models that are flaky. Most work just fine and dandy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
