soofull
Hello, I recently purchased a Corsair One Pro from Newegg about a week ago, opened box and everything is set up. However, now i see a availability for the 1080 TI version.... Any way if there is a option to pay additional to have my Pro sent and upgraded. Or maybe should I return my Pro back? I'd like to know if there is any other options besides selling it now.. Thank you!
dangeruss13
Honestly, I'd return/exchange. However, I see you purchased your's mid/late last year. Probably outside of the exchange/return period. I'd really be curious to know if you can swap the part out yourself. I'm sure it'd void the warranty, but at some point the warranty will expire and you'd be left with a video card that'd dated.
Corsair Employee Corsair Alan Posted January 29, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 29, 2018 For post warranty upgrades, you can drop a standard reference sized GPU card in there. For higher wattage cards like a 1080 ti, you can replace the SF400W in the standard C1 Pro to a retail SF600. However, the temperature and noise tolerance will be different since they weren't spec'd for CORSAIR ONE.
