Corsair Employee Corsair Kevin Posted December 11, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 11, 2019 It is recommended that you connect however many EPS (CPU power) connectors the motherboard requires. From the motherboard's product page, it looks like you need an 8-pin and a 4-pin. The 8-pin EPS connector splits into two 4-pin connectors on the motherboard side. Ensuring the CPU has proper power delivery will help the CPU reach higher boost clocks with the likes of AMD's Precision Boost.
