Vengeance RGB problems

Hi everyone,

 

I recently bought a new PC, and i noticed that my RAM was not lighting up. I've followed a number of different tutorials and nothing seems to have worked. The only thing that changed was the RAM now appears in Corsair LINK which it didn't beforehand, however does not give me any control over the lighting (I'll leave a picture). Im aware that my ram will not show up in ICUE. I am currently using a ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO motherboard with 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3000MHz (4 x 8GB). If anyone knows how to fix it I'd greatly appreciate it.

I would install the Corsair iCUE software, which replaces the Corsair Link software. Then under settings, hopefully, your ram is detected and you can do the firmware update. It sounds like the latest firmware update should address the lighting not activating, based on some of the other forum user posts.

your lucky u can get ICUE to install. ive tried it on 3 different computers and it still doesnt work. mine is stuck with 1 blue led on the top and a red on another stick. the other 2 have nothing at all anymore

This is the version of iCUE coming out of beta, perhaps this one will install for you?
