Bottom line: The rating of pins, wires, etc. is a max rating before it gets so hot that things catch fire. If it's rated at 10A, that means it's only a matter of time that at 10.1A it gets so hot...

Thought I wouldn't just replace the fuse with a larger one as the construction of the cord may not...

First off: What do you mean by "turned off". Just Windows, start, shut down? Or are you literally flipping the switch off that provides power to the PSU?

I would put in a ticket with Corsair to have the PSU replaced. I've seen similar symptoms with a TX-M with the exact same lot code do the same thing and it eventually failed.

That doesn't make sense. The connector on the PSU side is not PCIe. And I don't think I'd want to use a single cable that plugs into three different PCIe power...

I'm guessing 8-pin + 8-pin + 8-pin means 8-pin to the PSU and then two PCIe...
