I don't recall a 'bug' where iCUE would freeze on custom fan curves. Not sure where that's coming from. But there's no issue with custom fan curves on any of the 4 PCs that I have iCUE controlling...

If it's the 4-pin fan connector, you should set it to have the full 12V. It won't hurt the fan at all. That's a PWM fan so it should always have the full 12V with the speed controlled by the PWM...
