Tested four years later and it's not possible...

Tested four years later and it's not possible because with the heat sink the module look like this V instead of ||.

There not enought space, heat sink is too large. :(

With the link by motherboard I've just found the 7 kits that I've listed.
I don't find CMD4GX3M2A1600C8 but I find the 8Go Kit CMD8GX3M4A1600C8 which is probably made of the same module type.

I have ordered this hardware yet but I'am worried about the fact that I can't find my memory module in the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for this motherboard.

I see every where that good / standard voltage for XMS 3200 XL is 2.75 V (for exemple in a PDF taken from the XMS "Qualification and Testing"...

I didn't run the "night test" at 2.75 V but only with 5 passes I find the memory modules very hot ! Maybye it's normal (sorry I can't have the exact temperature). :sigh!:
