And yes, it is likely one or more bad fans. The process that I described will tell you exactly which fans are bad and which are not.

Here's the thing: the fans operate in series. One fan passes data to the next fan. So if one fan is wonky, it throws all of them off.
Determining which fan is tedious but...

Yes, you can put LL fans on a Lighting Node Core. If it's just LL Fans on it, you'd configure the channel as LL fans and it'd operate just like a Lighting Node Pro with a single channel.

You can, however, have 2 channels of 6 QL fans on the Commander Pro.

Additionally, Fan Hub Splitters do work with the QL...

That sounds like a fan curve based on the CPU temperature. This is typically not recommended for case fans or AIO fans - and it's not something that you need to do with a CoPro as it has temp sensors...

Well, they are connected to the motherboard. If iCUE can report them, it'll be on the dashboard. But iCUE won't be able to control them. You'll need to do that from the BIOS or the motherboard...

If iCUE doesn't "see" it, it won't control it. It's likely that Windows doesn't "see" the device...

It will most likely work just fine. The QVL is just what the manufacturer has tested with the board. As you've seen, they don't test everything or even close to it.
