  1. Thanks for the update, the crashing was a bit annoying ;).
  2. Got a similar issue, this latest version seems very crash-happy (one time it crashes, next try it starts up fine) - sent a few reports.
  3. Saved custom XMP profiles are nice to use as an easy starting point after a reset but my tRFC2 does not keep the exact value entered (changes from 400 to 402 🙃) - is this a bug or the motherboards doing? Hardware: 7800X3D MSI X670E Carbon Wifi 2x32GB Corsair DDR5-6600 CL32 (CMK64GX5M2B6600C32)
  4. Wish there was another check box for the other way around too (Disable LED when microphone is inactive). The red light is rather distracting and you'd have to put the mic under your chin to not notice it especially in a darker room. Or ideally give us full control over the colors of the two statuses: Mic on - red/green/off/maybe even other colors like yellow if it can do that Mic off - red/green/off/maybe even other colors like yellow if it can do that I'm also sure some people would prefer red for mic is "hot" and green for "you can talk freely now with people in the room" :sunglasse. Those settings then would work in favor for them too. On another note, I had to send a unit back because the USB-C was coming loose after few months causing "Charging battery" and "Battery low" to alternate at times. Wasn't very happy but thankfully the retailer took care of it. It also had other (somewhat overlook-able) issues like the dongle freezing up when going out and back in range, the sound getting distorted mid-game/-video and ofc a loose, rattling switch like all unfortunately seem to have.
  5. The latest auto update from iCUE just uninstalled the program on my system after the reboot, nice going Corsair! :flamethro
  6. Oh yeah, cheered too soon. The first (1) is back .
  7. (1)(1)(1)(1)(1)(1)(1)(1) is gone.
  8. If it's a purely software only mute button, then Webex has probably no issue unmuting. Might want to look into settings of Webex or ask their support for a way to disable that behaviour. The Virtuoso's isn't a hardware switch that disconnects all audio signals of the mic like others have while the software still thinks it's on, it also probably needs it to be in software for the LED to change to the right color and to play the announcer voice according to the current status.
  9. Now there are two of them!
  10. Well, ****. I wrote to Corsair-support at the same time to hear what they say, but I'm not hopeful after your post. Anyway, thank you for your comment.
  11. Second headset arrived and another wobbler - seriously, are we having different definitions of "firm" or is this an EU problem with where they're manufactured (isn't it all made in China anyway)? Video, with sound now! Now imagine it amplified by the right ear shell body whenever you brush a hoodie/pillow against it or just moving your head slightly faster, drowning out everything else for a short moment. This reeks of shoddy build quality and I'm a bit miffed having to go to a packed post office for the return just to get another stinker:noooooo:.
  12. Thanks for your input, 2 firm and 1 wobbly switch so far reported. Amazon swap is in progress, will report back after checking how the second headset fares.
  13. @Tracyfox Thanks for the info. Edit: Nvm, other users seem to indicate otherwise. Odd that a Youtuber answered the opposite when I asked in a comment on a relatively recent video about the headset.
  14. Just a quick question: Is the switch supposed to be that loose? Not only up and down to switch modes but also inwards (vertically up when wearing it, to explain better), there is a loud rattle in the right ear thanks to its looseness. Even faster head movement or brushing against a pillow causes the rattle. Pondering about returning it because it's really distracting esp. in the pillow usage scenario. Video of the wobbly bastard. Second, disabling the idle detection in iCUE doesn't seem to work. It still switches off randomly. For now I've set it to 99 minutes which seems to help a bit. @JustBrownie: Happens to all of us I'd guess and hope Corsair can patch it in future iCUE-versions. PS: No %-age charge indicator sucks and I don't buy the UX-consistency excuse. You can only display one in Windows tray anyway so there is no possibility of a design clash there, the devices are all on separate settings-tabs so no direct comparison there either...if the hardware is capable of showing % then damn well use it!
