I have been having this problem with my h100i v2 and it was causing my CPU to get very hot during a gaming session because the fan speed wouldn't change. Restarting the Corsair service would only fix the issue for 30 mins max. I gave up waiting for an update from Corsair to fix iCUE and went back to Corsair Link v4.9 and CUE v2.21. Since then I haven't had a single issue as well as both applications combined use less resources than iCUE.
