Problem fixed. I ran an Trim Optimisation Tool, it cleaned all the junk files. I think it would do that by itself when idleing(the ssd drive), but it's okay now.

It's 100% running, AHCI in BIOS enabled, i also installed Intel RST during Windows Install with browse for driver option... So it's not an issue with my Windows instalation.

Is it because TRIM needs my SSD to sit idle a longer time? I always use my laptop when it's on, so idleing is a rare occasion. How long should I wait for deleted files to get expunged?

Done. It's an 30nm F60GB2 drive running fw 2.0. Updating to 2.4 doesn't work because of 'incorrect fw package error', one of the few unsupported drives( i don't mind, drive is stable for daily use)....

you need to split the drives from the raid array, boot 'hiren's boot cd' using usb stick or a burned disk, choose windows xp live mode (it contains intel rst v9 afaik), run the updater from there....
