one of the reasons i got put off regarding the thinner Rads was the surface area against the thicker ones is quiet some...

you may find a thin rad that may fit but every where iv read...

Nah you'll be right on all the things listed... and as long has you screwed in the PSU via the back you'll be good and if you don't sit the case on a carpet you'll be good with that fan too..

No noise should be coming from the PSU..well apart from a little fan noise so if it's making a racket i'd have in sent back right away..
See if your supplier will take it back has it be quicker then...

If on a flat surface there is plenty of room to draw air through the PSU and decent PSU's will keep low...
