I still think it's the fan on the GPU. Mine does the same thing when I'm gaming, but the top fan drowns it out when it's running full blast. I can't tell whether yours is running more or louder...

I'm using the exact same fan on my i160 and it works fine. Just plugged it in and it worked with the stock fan curve. I didn't try to tweak anything.

FYI - I don't think it cools any better...
