There are several HID drivers controlling the buttons. Sometimes one of them gets borky, and affects only certain ones. In the past I fixed this by doing a repair install of iCUE.

Could have gone bad. It happens. Open a ticket and RMA the dongle. At least you can still use the mouse either BlueTooth or wired.
