  1. Thats up to the vendor, however future BIOS updates may solve the issue, i think "memory compatibility" has shown up on almost every BIOS upgrade I have ever done lol so it may work. But if you work up the settings bit by bit step by step you may get real close. And watch for fixes in BIOS updates and try, hey never know you may see it work at some point. I have 3200MHz due to budget limitations I hit 5k with my upgrade so I just had to make some choices to reduce over all cost so I could do it all.
  2. Is the ram kit you have on the motherboard QVL? thats the first place to start. If it is not on the QVL it has not been tested for compatibility. What you can do and what I would do next is start my matching the settings of a 3000Mhz identical kit, and test it with Prime95 (Enable high memory use). Then move up to 3200MHz then 3400Mhz equiv kits and see how close you can get. Once find the stable settings matching these kits, you can do some real tweaking to get as close as you can.
  3. Thats actually really good. I have a 3900X/Vega 64 and when running BOINC (Seti@Home) which pretty much pins my GPU and CPU at near 100% at the same time I get 72/34 degrees with a fluid temp of 34 reported by CP (Ryzen master always reports about 2deg lower on CPU). I have 3x360mm rads and my ML120 Pro RGB fans only run about 1200rpm at that CPU Temp. So I would say your setup is running very well.
  4. Switch for me made, back to Logitech with a G903 wireless, so far it worked! yeah been a day but thats a day longer then either of my dark core mice, and only needs to last about 2 months to beat my ironclaw.
  5. I have now given up on Corsair mice, two Dark Core SE's with the wireless feezing (Have to unplug and replug wireless dongle), worse two other friends all bought around same time and they too have the same issue. I bought one for laptop and desktop, thanks to the MM800's hump in middle, using it wired it awful, but ill just use it wired on my lappy.... buying wireless mice to use it wired lovely. It replaced an ironclaw that had the mouse wheel just break after a few months (threads on here about that too), sad part is I only used it as a wheel, never even used the side to side or its button feature. I am slowly beginning to question my investment in Corsair peripherals, had no end of issues with ST100 as well. My PSU/Memory/Fans/XD Pump are all working great, just hope it stays that way.
  6. Question: Are you referring to the 4.5A of thr CP or does the PWM repeaters have the same limitation? I thought PWM repeaters were powered and only the PWM signal is connected back to CP.
  7. Read the boards QVL, memory listed there will be the most compatible. That's the first place everyone should begin, once you establish whats been tested, proceed with narrowing down to the purchase. With my x570 Aorus Master thats what I did, read the QVL, then narrowed down to a purchase. Personally I think the dominator RGB are the best looking ram, but thats personal taste. I love the centipede like RGB look iCUE has.
  8. I have a similar setup, same case but 10 fans. Some of your options are dependant on the fans. A fan is not a fan is a fan, they all have different power draws. I run 10 fans off my CP 3 per channel and a lone fan all by himself. I use 3x1 splitters. Each channel has 1A of power max draw, my Fans are ML120 Pro RGB and have less than .3A draw per fan. Due to me being well under the 1A draw I can split to 3 fans per channel, however some fans can have significantly higher draw, meaning you can only run 2 per channel or move to a repeater as outlined above. Understands the specs, and the draw per fan, the rest is just some math. Side note, you will love that case! but man does it fill up fast once you start added rads, fans, GPU etc. I also run the vertical GPU kit so that really fills up space in a hurry!
  9. Compatibility is found in the memory QVL which you can get off the ASRock site, usually the downloads section for the board in question. As a side note, I always recommend you consult this before buying memory for any board. ASRock however is a bit of a weird one, they advertise speeds but often lack any memory tested at those speeds on their QVL, its not a common practice, Usually vendors will have at least one tested kit at advertised speeds. ASRocks QVL isn't as reliable as other vendors.
  10. I am 95.7% sure it is :biggrin:but I have to work on other wiring and clean up in the back compartment this Sunday so I will check that out to make sure I did not just plug it into #2 by mistake. I so hate wiring work, and man with 10 RGB fans its like a snake orgy back there.
  11. I have a similar issue, I actually have the CP reporting the temp, but not allowing me to use it for the HydroX pump custom curve. But I just use the extreme setting, as my fliud doesn't fluctuate much, jumps between 31-32 under prolonged load.
  12. iCUE Spaces no longer launches on my since p atch:( i kinda liked that up.
  13. Yeah its steep, I bought three of those kits and a single. But they come with lighting hubs and nodes as a bonus making it a little easier to swallow. I wish Corsair would add a 3>1 splitter of good quality since these are so low power usage they do work with three on one PWM header.
  14. First is that memory kit on the QVL for your board? That's the first place anyone should look before buying memory. This is the tested and confirmed working memory configs by manufacture that the board vendor has tested to work. If you buy off the QVL listed memory your on your own. Beyond that: Make sure you have he latest BIOS, memory stability is one of the most common fixes version over version. Next don't use the XMP if that doesn't help, use the same timings as say the next kit down you could have bought. Keep reducing until you get a stable Prime95 run. If your memory runs at JEDEC speeds (2133) then its likely good, and you have a compatibility issue if your memory is not listed on the QVL.
