iCue keeps Ryzen boosting, using higher voltages and heating up a bit more, because it uses too much CPU time....

It's just rows of 12V and grounds..

That said, unless you are heavily overclocking a 3950X, you should be fine with just the 8 pin.

They have very dense fins (22 fpi), and corsair fans have low static pressure. 140mm fans by their very nature have also lower static...

Even when you close iCUE it is still running. Deactivating it should...

For the H150, i would set it to change fan speed depending on coolant temperature. that will prevent the fans from changing speed drastically, as happens when it is set to regulate with CPU temp.
