Firmware won't update for 240 GB Neutron GTX (19nm)

Update: My apologies. I'm stupid and didn't reboot after firmware update. After rebooting, the firmware correctly shows M311. :o:

Toolbox says the latest version available is M311, while the drive's current one is M306. The update completes without a hitch, but the firmware version stays M306. Tried several times - same result.

This is a brand new and empty drive.

After the first apparent failure to update, I thought the drive needed initialization, so I Secure-Wiped it with Toolbox, initialized it through Windows' own Disk Management, quick-formatted it to NTFS and assigned it a letter. Still the same result after each procedure.

Don't beat yourself up. We have identified this as something that needs to be changed in an upcoming version of the toolbox. We'll be adding a prompt to have users power their machine off and restart. Sorry you had an issue and we'll get it fixed.
