babdi
I am planning to upgrade from 2 x 2 Gb to 4 X 4 = 16GB Memory. Which memory model is suitable. I found Dominator GT has 4 GB kits while XMS does not. My present memory is XMS series. Hence this question
Wired
Dominator GT has 4 GB KITS, but not 4 GB STICKS. They'd be the last line to go 4 GB since they're the high end stuff. Some of the new dual channel kits (under Core i5) may have 4 GB sticks, but I'm still awaiting confirmation on how the part numbers break down to figure that out. babdi
Thank you wired. I run AMD Phenom X4,955 BE. Will the new dual channel 4 G B sticks work with my setup ie., AMD Phenom BE + Gigabyte GAMAXT4UDP Combo !?
Wired
There's no 4 GB DDR3 kits as of yet.
