misterz100
I have a Corsair 540 case with H105 cooling currently mounted on the top. I am eyeing a EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Hybrid and it uses a 120mm fan any recommendations on mounting or if I should even bother?
c-attack
Are you asking if it will fit or if it will be effective?
misterz100
Asking how would a person configure it for it to be effective, if it's possible.
c-attack
Both systems as exhaust. Dump the waste heat out. No problem with intake air supply on a 540. The tricky little bit might be the 52mm clearance you need at the rear slot for radiator/fan. The 38+25mm of H105 will come pretty close to the rear radiator/fan combo. I am using 140's in both place so it's difficult for me to judge, but it you have the H105 installed, you should be able to see. Worst case scenario would mean you mount the fan outside the case in the back, but I don't think you'll need to.
