DvdG
Right now the fans boot with a rainbow effect and only once the Link software has loaded up they become red like I want them to. Is there any way to make them red from the moment I boot the pc?

DevBiker
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=928697#post928697 with this works well ;) Thanks ... but that won't help the OP's issue. The problem is that they had to remove hardware playback to fully support the LL fans. IIRC, Corsair Dustin says that they will be adding it back in (not for LL fans but for others) later. If you don't have LL fans AND you really want the hardware playback, you can install an earlier version until hardware playback for non-LL fans is brought back. c-attack
If you do not have any of the most recent RGB gear that require Link 4.9 (LL series, ML-RGB series, Pro coolers when they arrive, etc.), then you can roll back to Link 4.8.3. This is available on the Corsair download page. That version does retain your lighting during boot cycles or when Link is not running. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/downloads
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted December 5, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 5, 2017 Note that we are planning to bring hardware playback back in an upcoming release of Link.
