TX650v2 PSU Problem?

Hello everyone,

This is my third RMA from corsair, and a different product now, so I really hope that this isn't a problem.

When I start my PC with my brand new TX650 PSU, the PSU fan goes full speed for around 5 seconds and I get a surge protection warning in the Bios. For now i've disabled the asus surge protection in the settings.

Here's a video:

Can anyone advise me whether or not this is normal?

Yes, thats normal. The fan does it's own self test and then shuts back down until needed.

Just Disable ASUS surge protection. It's garbage and known for triggering false warnings. We get a couple of posts every week with the same issue.
