Meisaku Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 I'm also having the same issues with my 120 GB Corsair Neutron GTX as the others. I got the drive last November and made a fresh Windows 8 x64 installation on it. Around mid-December my computer started having problems launching some apps and random slowdowns, and a look at the event log revealed those ID 153 disk events of retrying operations at logical block xxx. A while after Windows started to find file system errors. I did the Secure Erase and reinstalled everything, and all seemed to work fine. But apparently it was just not accessing the bad bits as today the same symptoms & event log entries started to appear, and Lenovo's BIOS-based Hard Drive analyzer says "Error code 0000: Read verification failed".
