RGB Maniac
I want to buy this keyboard but on all the reviews i've seen the Brightness of the LEDS dont look that great especially on brighter places like close to a Window... Can somebody that has this keyboard please turn up to the max the brightness of the keyboard both on the CUE 2 software and on the dedicated Key from the keyboard and then take some pictures so that i can see it please? Thanks.

k155
It's an inevitable result of how Cherry RGB switches are designed. The Strafe RGB fares better because it uses a white backplate. That said, you will be missing out on a lot of premium features like a metal construction, volume wheel, onboard profile switching, and of course the RGB light strip. What I would recommend is finding a good deal on the K95, which is regularly on sale, and investing the difference into a Corsair white PBT cap set. Not only does it substantially enhance the brightness because white reflects light better than black, but you'll never want to go back once you experience PBT caps. c-attack
Possibly true, but keep in mind double shot key caps will darken the LED aspect somewhat, even if the plastic key reflects more ambient light.
Corsair Employee Corsair StormShadow Posted May 2, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 2, 2018 What c-attack said. But honestly I don't feel that the LEDs are as dim as you have described.
