    QL vs LL

yes i know i can buy only the lighting node but it's very expensive and it would be better to buy it with fans since i'm also looking for 1 RGB fan to put on my CPU cooler top flow. if i buy just the lighting node pro i assume i can't connect any corsair fan to it so i would need the node pro, an adapter cable and 2 fans, to get what i would get if i buy LL 140 RGB pack So if the difference between LL and QL is just what you said about LEDs...i don't need them to be on both side of the fan so LL is the best choice because they include the lighting node pro i need and they are cheaper too.

    QL vs LL

Few questions 1) RGB side: the only difference is that QL have leds on both side of the fan or there is more? 2) I found this cable that allows to connect other RGB fans to the lighting node core, but QL doesn't have the lighting node core because it is included in the splitter. Can i connect that cable to the splitter or do i have to buy LL if i want to use that cable + non Corsair RGB?
  3. ok i saw that LS100 is fully external and it connects to PC by external USB port, ok. Is is possible to bend the strips to 90 degrees? I don't want to put them on the back of the monitor but on my desk and i need to bent them. What would it be the radius of the bending? I don't expect them to be bent like the other ones on the market (can i say the name??) that has a very short radius thanks to small adapaters inclueded but i need a radius or max 3-4 cm, not more
  4. how can i watch tabs if i don't have Corsair hardware on my PC? i'm just asking to see if i want to buy or not. The software can be nice for those who has many RGB components and want to control all of them, with special effects I just want 1 fan
  5. i can do that...what? you disable the tray icon? I don't understant what you mean because i asked "which effects can i choose...." and then "can i hide...." and the only question you can answer with a "yes" is the second one. but the explanation "go to device---hadware lighting" it seems more an answer to where do i have to go to change the hadware effect.
  6. Ok But honestly, after a year of RGB i understood that i don't want complex things. Just a Rainbow or a static white or something circular is good for me. I don't want to customize every single led to create strange things. So do you know what is available for hardware mode? PS: can i at least hide the tray icon?? i could just do that IF iCUE is not heavy (about 30mb)
  7. it's not "obviously". with Polychrom i can choose the effect and then close. If the process is still going, it will take resources and i also don't want to see the icon the in tray. But then you say another thing. if i understand i can change the default (you call it hardware) effect, but i can't choose among all the effects availables when iCUE is running. Correct? i don't know what you mean with "limited to a single effect". I (would) have nothing else escept those fans so if mean that i can't choose a different effect for each component, that is not important because i have only 1. i don't like PCs that look like a christmas tree.
  8. so i can't close it it has to keep running in background
  9. After choosing the colors/effects of these fans, can i close iCUE or it has to stay open on background otherwise the fans would return to their default setting?
  10. so i need different hubs/commanders if i want to have both the LS and the fans in the PC?
  11. i have 2 questions about LS100 1- i would like to use these together with 1 fan. If i buy a starter kit can i connect a single QL 120 to the commander(s) included? 2- is it possibile to create and effect that spread the ligh from the center of the strip toward the edges? (and the opposite)
  12. i watched a video where i saw that i would need 2 controllers!!! one to connect to the motherboard and the other one it's like a splitter to connect all the fans. Since i need only one fan can i just buy the first controller or i need both?
  13. If i buy a single fan, can i connect it to the motherboard both for RGB and PWM or i need a controller?
  14. So i see that now Vengeance RGB Pro has dummy modules. i have haa bad experience with these ram because of a bad white so i'm not going to buy the rame again but i have 2 questions 1) dummy modules can work even if i don't have real Vengenace RGB Pro modules? ( i have vengeance LPX) 2) can you please do dummy modules also for dominator platinum RGB? i love tho se ram but buy 32 gb is too expensive.
