  1. Thanks both! Quite a lot of planning - and adapting - went into this. I did the pump to GPU bend last because I anticipated it to be the hardest one. Turned out to be much easier than the ones to and from the CPU... While I used an alphacool toolkit for bending, I would not have succeeded without a Dremel. Anyone here using a Dremel for this too?
  2. Used a Thermaltake Riser Cable. It is very tight as it sits in the PSU shroud. But I used it instead of the Corsair one due to numerous reports that this had issues on Z390 motherboards.
  3. The two pump/reservoir combos may be super thight, at least if you plan to use the mounting brackets that come with them. If you find a way to mount it lower, then they may fit... Good luck with this and your hospital stay!
  4. Nice to follow your build, looking forward seeing how it develops. I just did my first build in the 500D RGB SE and noticed as well, that there is not a ton of space once you start putting in reservoir, tubing etc. But it looks sooo nice
  5. When I planned my first watercooled build early summer, I expected this to be a natural next step, kind of easy. Oh boy, it did not take long until I realized I was in over my head. Maybe I should have started with an easier build? I certainly only succeeded with the help of this community - a few tips here and there - so thanks a lot to everyone of this community for not leaving me hanging. Putting it all together took a while, but man was I nervous before starting the pump for the first time: No leak, no flood, all good  So after setting everything else up, I installed it in my office today. I'm proud to say it all worked out. My wife called the little stormtrooper "Sven", and after someone asked me whether I was building a fancy coffee- or time-machine, I ended up calling the system "Tardis" Almost sad this is through, I would very much like to build another one. But unfortunately my wallet is not able to suffer through something similar in the near future… Again thanks to everyone who replied to my questions. PS: No idea how I can make the pictures appear smaller...
  6. Thanks Greg, I'll have a look whether I can get those in Switzerland.
  7. Thanks! I'll have look whether local dealers offer these.
  8. I need to repaste a HydroX GPU water block, and it is the first time I'm doing this kind of thing. Any recommendation on Which thermalpaste? Could there be problems with certain pastes and HydroX? Do I put the paste on the GPU or on the cooling block? Thanks for helping!
  9. Maybe I'm messing this up in my head, let me try to get this. RGB control: 6 fans + HydroX components + LED strip will give me 8 cables I need to plug into LED header. From what I understand, I can plug in the fans in slots of the Fan LED Hub, but the HydroX chain and the LED strip need to go directly into one of the LED ports. On the CoPro, one LED slot is taken by the Fan LED Hub, the other by the NoPro. On the NoPro, there will be the LED strip and the chained Hydro X. Correct? So far so good. USB: On the CoPro, one USB slot taken by NoPro and one by the Power Supply. There I should be settled. Fan/Pump PWM control: 6 fans + hydro X components chained will give me 7 cables I need to plug into fan headers. Hydro X needs to go into channel 6 of the CoPro, Fan 1-5 will go into slots 1-5 on the CoPro. But where do I plug in fan number 6? Thanks for helping out!
  10. I ordered most of the components for a new system in the 500d, but I'm struggling with the RGB and fan setup. Here is what I have: 6 LL120 fans Hydro X Pump with also cooling cpu and gpu LED strip H1000i To wire it all together I have the CoPro and FanHub from the case, in addition a lightning node pro + rgb fan hub from a 3pack LL120 fans Now if I want to connect all my components to the CoPro, I'm short on connections. Do I have to buy another CoPro to be able to connect it all, or is there another way? If so, in what slots of which CoPro do I plug in pump fan and rgb header? The manual is specific in which slots, but not on which CoPro if I chain them… I hope someone has experience and can help me with this. Thanks!
