  1. It is the middle ring that went on mine I don't use white though, I always use RGB. I've had 1 replacement now but haven't fitted yet. I'm hoping no more follow.
  2. Yeah maybe it is because they're just RGB LEDs. I did find a post on Corsair Reddit somewhere that a Corsair employee has said this issue has been fixed with newer replacement fans so there obviously was an issue in manufacturing quality or components used. I don't know where to go from here as I've literally had them 2 years and the warranty is run out just but if I start to use them more I can see all the others failing as all my are from an early batch not the newer revised one's.

Just found this thread as it has just happened to 1 of my 10 QL 120's 2 years old but very little use as I don't have the LEDs on normally during PC use, Just test them every now and again and already 1 has failed to which I'm getting a replacement but my concern is as they're almost out of warranty I dropped over £220 on 10 fans and if they're failing at this rate what gives? Is the warranty going to be extended as this is not really acceptable, I have white LEDs in the bathroom that have been running for 7 years and still going. How have others got on 2 years down the line in this thread with replacements is it still happening?

Yeah it definitely sounds like some electrical sort of failure as LEDs shouldn't matter what colour you run them at as they're normally extremely reliable, They last for years in all sorts of other devices, So far it's only the 1 out of the 10 but I fear it's just going to be a domino effect if I started to use them more. I've done a bit of googling and these fans do seem to be plagued with this particular fault, I wonder if it's the software causing too high voltages to be sent out to the LEDs during transition or something. Corsair is sending me a replacement out thankfully.
  5. Haven't had others other than Fractal ARGB fans but never had any issues with them during ownership. I don't run them white at all that was just a test to see what was going on with it, They have probably ran white about 20 mins of their lifetime, I don't think that's normal. For the little use they've had probably about 10 hrs runtime I've always used cycling RGB.

Hi I purchased 10 QL 120 Fans 2 years ago and have hardly used them! in total they have only been on around 10 hours in that time, (Don't have them on all the time) and one of them already has a different colour LED for eg when I select white the LED is Pink and when I select green the LED turns Red. Where do I go from here as they have had little use in terms of lighting and were very expensive to boot.

I don't know what's going on or when it happened but I can set it back to balanced in Icue but I don't want Icue running all the time and when I exit Icue it reverts back to quiet as I can see the pump speed drop in Hwinfo, Why is it doing this, With Corsair LInk software you could set the device defaults to whatever you wanted Icue however being more advanced offers less functionality (I know I am being sarcastic) Why can I only change the default lighting of the pump head in hardware lighting and not pump speed?

Hi, I have just got this drive as a replacement for my GT stick that had died and I am having the same issue and on Windows 11, I haven't tried any other OS yet so I don't know if this stick is faulty but it is doing exactly the same thing, Takes ages to initialise and sometimes just freezes my system in he process. I did find that if plugged in a USB 2.0 port it worked first time every time but not in USB 3.0 ports so I don't know what is going on with these GTX's I have sent an email off to corsair regarding my warranty replacement not working properly and it could be because of the onboard controller corsair is using on these sticks being an isssue.
  10. HI, Right I got a replacement 128GB Voyager GTX for my dead 128GB GT Model that worked fine every single time in WIndows 11 with each insertion and it died no light whatsoever. Anyway fast forward to today I get a GTX replacement and it will not work properly in Windows 11 ( I don't have another OS to test it) First time it worked and now it just keeps freezing my computer randomly trying to access it, Sometimes it works first time in certain USB ports sometimes it doesn't, Sometimes the driver pops up in my computer but does not initialise properly and freezes my system again. My system is as follow, Brand new Alder Lake upgrade a couple of months ago, 12900K all logitech wireless stuff, Asus ROG Strix Z690 Mobo, All my other USB sticks and devices work fine so there is nothing wrong with the system itself there seems to be an issue with these GTX drives, I don't know if it's a driver thing or what but it should not be doing what it is doing when I have 3 other perfectly fine USB sticks that initialise straight away upon insertion. I should add for some reason this GTX stick is being detected as an SCSI device in device manager, I have no idea why and maybe that's the issue but if this device is indeed an SCSI device then no wonder it is not working properly and why are these sticks still being sold if there is no driver available for Windows 11? Not sure what to do from here this is a warranty replacement and it's just random whether it initialises or not.
  11. Can you believe it still has not moved from Amsterdam it's now 2 weeks Wednesday after their original promise, DHL have no clue why it is on hold and I haven't heard anything from Corsair yet, I've got over £1k of good here I can't use because of 4 screws, Notice no support replies in here?
  12. Corsair this is becoming an absolute joke! It's now the 12th November almost 2 weeks after the release of the CPU's and Motherboards, My standoffs shipped last Wednesday from Amsterdam it is now Friday and the parcel is on HOLD. WTF I needed them today, Isn't DHL Express 2 days or am I missing something? According to the tracking they are still in Amsterdam! ffs
  13. How? I ordered on them on the UK site for UK delivery on the 3rd November and it still says processing? When did you order them?

  15. Cheers thanks, I just bought an Elite Capellix to get ready for the CPU next week and Corsair are not going to be ready in time, Sucks big time.
