How possible/easy is it to upgrade my 5180, which is now 4.5 years old? Can I simply add Hard Drives, RAM, and upgrade the graphics card? Are there OEM requirements, or can you use 3rd party? Would anyone have any recommendations for me? I would like more storage, faster speed (more RAM), and a newer graphics card. As opposed to buying a new machine. Thanks everyone for your input.

I have the 5180 with a CH-9315211-NA mouse. It constantly freezes and also the keyboard will lock on a character and repeat it a few dozen times. Not sure why this is happening. Very frustrating. I can fix the mouse by unplugging the cord and plugging it back in, but I have to do that every few minutes. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAlso (see it just did it so I left it here). Also, with iCue, the update for a keyboardddddddddddddddddddt' use is constantly there and when I click on it, NY whole system locks up. I have tried reinstalling iCue, and all my drivers are up to date (that I know of). Can anyone help?

...or is it a specific one. I lost my dongle and I want to use the k63, but it needs a firmware update. I can't seem to get it working with just my other Bluetooth dongle. Do I need to have the specific Corsair one?

Oh boy, I'm not a "crack open the case" guy. But I guess Geek Squad could do that for me?

I bought my Corsair 5180 in May of 2019 and have been happy with it, but it looks like I'm going to run out of hard drive space. I'm at about 80%. Is an EXTERNAL drive recommended or are there internal upgrades? Anyone's comments are appreciated. Rob

Is it possible the 5180 doesn't even HAVE bluetooth. The option in Windows settings to turn on/off bluetooth doesn't exist?

I can't find out (without cracking open my case) if the RAM is expandable?

I appreciate that info. I have Norton 360 as part of LifeLock. But it does seem to be overbearing. Do you recommend any OTHER anti-virus malware protectors or just Windows Defender? I DO have a couple of trojans on my machine which is WHY I got Norton 360 added to my account.

I get a warning regarding having TWO firewalls installed. It claims I have Windows Defender and Norton 360 installed. Norton 360 "controls" Windows Defender therefore I cannot turn off Defender. But the yellow warning icon is DRIVING ME INSANE! Any thoughts?

I am getting this as well, very frustrating.

With no apparent reason or rhyme, my sound just stops working sometimes. Rebooting ALWAYS fixes it, but for the life of me I can't figure out what causes this. Anyone?

Updated to the latest Windows and now my CH-9315211-NA mouse is lagging. I didn't change anything else. When I move the mouse it takes a good inch or two on the pad for it to start responding. I tried... Rebooting unplugging the mouse Reinstalling the driver Nothing works. Idea? PLEASE HELP! This is sooooo aggravating.
