  1. Obsidian 1000D Expansion Slot Vertical Mount Adapter 3.99 usd from Corsair https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/PC-Components/Cases/Obsidian-1000D-Expansion-Slot-Vertical-Mount-Adapter/p/CC-8900170
  2. I would be curious about this post also Thinking of using Lian Li Fans in my next build. You would think that these manufactures would say hey lets do something about these cables every where and only Lian Li has taken the challenge and made it happen...when will this industry see a standard for RGB and connectability Looking hard at Corsair as Corsair brands themselves as the leader...
  3. https://www.ekwb.com/customer-support/ EKWB is great and helping you out. Also note that the The Lian Li G1 side distro is only compatible with the DDC 3.1, DDC 3.2 and DDC 4.2 pumps. as per EKWB https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-classic-dp-side-pc-o11d-g1-d-rgb-ddc-4-2-pwm Distro with the 4.2 pump as is listed by EKWB as END of LIFE meaning that all good things come to an end as the Lian LI Dynamic 011 D has been around the block many times and newer better cases are hitting the market.
  4. How do you have your Lian Li infinity fans connected? Do you have them going to the Lian Li hub and then having an adaptor to Mother Board RGB or do you have a commander Pro or other type hub? There are countless videos online; Youtube even on how to connect Lian Li fans to ICUE. Are you using L Connect software and or ICUE. Have you loaded ICUE and not connected your fans to ICUE? Reason I ask is sometime the Firmware on the AIO needs updated. Also system build specs would be helpful. I have two commander pros , 4 vengeance ddr4 RGB, 12 Corsair fans, H115I AIO RGB, Asus mb and Asus Strix 2070 all controlled by ICUE latest Version no issues. in the Thermaltake Case. Several of my friends have Lian Li case 011 with Lian Li Fans with Corsair RGB headset, ddr4 Ram rgb, keyboard and mouse all corsair with AIO Corsair and they have meshed their components together with adapter cables and use ICUE to run RGB and fans.
  5. Several questions, 1. What AIO model, manufacturer? 2. What controller? Corsair Commander Pro or other? 3. Do you have pwm cable for cpu fan, pump monitoring plugged in correctly into the correct header on MB? 4. Is CPU monitoring/ fan enabled or disabled in bios? And what is it set too? I had this issue with a commander pro and Asus Maximus Formula IX with H115i Once I disabled cpu monitoring in bios and moved my pump cable to cpu fan header from pump connection on MB as the pump connection is for real true water cooling pwm/ddc pumps. Things may have changed with newer MBs and if you have AIO header ensure it is enabled in bios.
  6. I used something like this to install 10 Corsair HD140/120 fans into a Thermaltake Core X5 Case worked very well to put all those unsightly cables into a sleeve. MGI SpeedWare-Split-Sleeve. There are many other manufactures and diymod may have something too. link to amazon you maybe able to find it is a specific color also. BTW zip ties are your friend Edit; direct manufacture site https://mgispeedware.com/product/woven-wire-loom/ shows the various sizes 1/4in to 3/4in https://www.amazon.com/MGI-SpeedWare-Split-Sleeve-Automotive-Electronic/dp/B07JQT11GX/ref=asc_df_B07JQT11GX/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=343991705271&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17546060357813750882&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031827&hvtargid=pla-609487752440&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=69534739856&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=343991705271&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17546060357813750882&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031827&hvtargid=pla-609487752440
  7. There was a thread on the H115i and in that thread 3 years ago it said to leave the H115i pump in extreme. That is how I have mine setup and it has been that way since day one from install. I know that these AIO have a life span of about 5 years. If your pump block came loose most likely your thermal connection to the CPU from the aio pump block ..Ie the thermal paste separated too and could have dried up on the parts that were no longer touching. Do you have a stethoscope for automotive use ? You can use one to listen to your pump they are pretty cheap like 9.99 at napa or even less at like harbor freight. you can listen when under a simulated load IE bench test. at normal, aka balanced load setting, quiet setting, extreme setting , you want to see if the sound of liquid is changing as it passes thru the pump and block assembly. plus if there is a restriction in the passages from trash left over from manufacturing breaking free in the radiator and making its way to the block/ pump assembly. c-attack laid it out there too that you could be facing a failure that there is no return from. So if in doubt change it out. There are so many new better AIOs on the market now. Better to change a 100 dollar part than to have to replace a mobo and cpu in a worse case. Plus if you are restricted there is the possibility of overheat which can lead to over pressure in a sealed and closed loop which may or may not leak and that old saying goes water and electricity do not miss to well..Your system your call..
  8. What fans do you have HDs, LLs ? that would help us help you.
  9. Greetings, I hope this helps you out. I have 2 Commander pros and 1 lighting node. 10 RGB HD fans 7 of which are HD140s, 3 @ HD120s , H115i AIO, Thermaltake 1250 RGB psu , 4 RGB Corsair strips All of my usbs are connected into a NZXT Internal USB Hub ( I Purchased adaptor cables to use the female usb ports) The Commander Pros control all my fans and LEDs for the fans. I went this route after failure of one on my Commander Pro usb hubs. Now all my usbs are in one place with the NZXT connected to my motherboard. I see everything in Icue with the exception of the PSU and there is a story about why I went that Route has to do with failure of a Corsair PSU and I did not want to wait for back order. Summary all the fans are connected and labeled to each commander pro with 6 fans on one Commander Pro and 4 on the other giving me two open ports for future troubleshooting if a failure occurs. . All the fan RGB cables are connected to the Commander Pros with provided connector hubs that came with the HD fans @ 2 total HD fan RGB connectors for the 10 fans with one each connected to each Commander Pro .I am using only one led port on each Commander Pro incase as failure. I have at 2 each Commander Pros, 1 Lighting Node ( with 4 led RGB strips from Corsair connected), PSU, USB cable for H115i AIO, Case Front usb 2.0 cable connected to the NZXT HUB. So six devices connect into the Internal NZXT usb hub as most newer Mobos only have 1 dual slot onboard 2.0 usb port. Issues I have had: early versions of ICUE (So keep a copy of previous installer when updating to go back if needed as newer software overwrites the current) a couple of bug issues with newer updates. Currently using the newest and greatest, ICUE. ( All my peripherals are Corsair, K95, Simmitar, Virtuoso SE, ST100, RGB Mouse pad) Lighting Node lost led port / hub #1 now using hub 2 ,, Commander Pro usb hub 1 and 2 no longer works, Commander Pro still functions for fans and RGB. For a 3 and half year usage at 24 hours 7 days a week system time. I have been unhappy with the failures on the Corsairs parts, my headsets show up twice in ICUE yet to find a fix for that. They work so it's all good. I have no regrets. Use ICUE for fan and RGB Control set custom fan curves not hat hard to do once you learn to navigate the ICUE software, You can use the Commander Pro usb hub it is a pass through or get an internal usb hub.. Just be sure that you connect the usb input cable into your motherboard. Occasionally check ICUE to make sure your Commander Pro is there on the dashboard and your AIO H110 along with the PSU. Reason I went with the NZXT internal is when my Commander Pro usb quit I lost pump control and could no longer access my PSU. You can connect your fans to the mobo but then again you have a Commander Pro and it can control 6 fans ,, Plus it has 4 temp sensors which is a plus. and you can view and label in ICUE. Last but least make sure all your sata power cables are connected correctly to power your RGBs, Commander pro and H110i. Feel free to ask questions I will do my best to answer then. P.S. DON'T UPDATE YOU CORSAIR COMPONENTS FIRMWARE UNTIL EVERYTHING IS WORKING FIRST AND SHOWS UP IN ICUE. MOST LIKELY YOUR COMMANDER PRO WILL NEED ITS FIRMWARE UPDATED AND ICUE WILL DO THAT FOR YOU. BE SURE YOU HAVE NO OTHER PROGRAMS IN THE FOREGROUND RUNNING WHEN UPDATING YOUR FIRMWARE.
  10. I had this issue an it was a bad cable. I swapped out the usb cable with a new one from local computer hardware store cost me like 2.99 usd and It took care of it. Also try unplugging and replugging in the oem cable. Along with changing the usb port it is plugged into. ( IE if it is plugged into the commander pro try it in another port. I RMA two seperate commander pro units as they had bad usb hubs straight out of the box. I now use A NZXT INTERNAL HUB AND I DO NOT RELY ON THE COMMANDER PRO FOR USB.
  11. I have replaced two Commander Pros because of USB hub issues one was through RMA the board had burnt after inspection by Corsair. The second one I just felt like the RMA process takes to long. The Two Commanders Pros that are in my system now have both quit regarding the USB Hubs and I had to move all the USB connected items off of the Commander Pros just for them to be seen. I have a NZTX internal USB hub and it works great. In my honest opinion I do not think the Commander Pro has enough power routed via Circuit Board to maintain the USB Hub. As I have had 4 failures now with the Commander Pro where it comes to the USB Devices connect to the Hubs. So far I have had zero issues with the NZTX internal and would recommend that over the Commander Pro for USB internal connectivity. For fans and lighting the Pro is Working. Now only if Corsair can get their software to work correctly I will be able to control my fans, LEDs, and AIO.
  12. I am in the same boat. I get the no devices detected and when my devices show up I am missing my H115i and my K95
  13. No problem I am glad I could assist. Please post back when you have it up and operational. I am thinking I am going to use my mobo to control the fans and use either the commander pro at 2 each or 1 NLP and 1 CP to control leds on the fans.
  14. Lekoo, The Asus MB listed in your specs is capable of controlling all 8 fans. And yes you can operate two (2) fans on one fan port from the MB with the Referenced link from Red-Ray( fan splitter 4 pin) as long as you do not exceed 1 amp total. Being that I currently own an ASUS MB Sabertooth fx99 V.2 that I use fan splitters on it to control multiple fans from single port. My new build is the Asus Maximus IX Formula (same board listed in your specs) and it has 8 ports for fans see Chapter 1 section 1-25 aka page 1-25 of the OEM regarding fan connections. The page also list the max amperage per connector and how to set them up in the bios. Since all your fans listed in this post are the HD RGB be it the 120mm or 140mm they are pwm 4 pin. And will require you to set them in Bios if you go the MB route to PWM. As for your LED control you will need either the Commander Pro or the LNP (Lighting Node Pro) Note the RGB ports on the ASUS MB are for 12 volt 5050 led standard and will not work with Corsair led strips THAT ARE 5 volt And since like me you have more than 6 FANS THAT REQUIRES YOU TO USE EITHER OF (2 each LNP or Commander Pro) THE ABOVE MENTIONED PRODUCTS. As for myself and my ASUS MB I choose to go the Corsair way and not use any ports on the MB (with the exception of the AIO and its fans controlled by MB AIO port) and use 2 each Commander Pro. That gives me a total of 12 fan ports and 4 led ports to use to power all fans and leds of the fans and any strips I install into my case the ThermalTake Core X5. Note not sure how you purchased your RGB HD fans if single pack you will need the Fan hub controller that comes with the dual and triple pack of HD RGB fans to control the LEDS. Corsair PN CO-8950020 Corsair RGB Fan LED Hub link to the page it is 9.99 from Corsair http://www.corsair.com/en-us/corsair-rgb-fan-led-hub Now to the gist you will plug the fan connectors into either your MB (up to 8 fans expandible with splitters) or Commander Pro( CP ) (6 fans per unit)or Lighting Node Pro (LNP)(6 fans per unit) whatever you so choose. The Led connector will first have to be plugged into the Corsair RGB Fan led hub and then connected to the LNP OR CP. The led ports on the LNP and the CP can control 6 led fans or 4 led Corsair strips (note others ,Red-Ray included have tested 3rd party led to 72 leds total see those post) so one either of each LNP / CP can control your leds but not all your fans The CP or the LNP needs to have the usb 2.0 cable connected to either your MB's 2.0 port or to an expander of that port. Because if you are like most you have other devices such as AIO/ Custom Water Cooler/ front port 2.0 usb on case/PSU/ LNP/CP or what ever other device that needs 2.0 usb to talk to it and control it My setup is like this the NZXT internal 2.0 usb hub is connected to the MB 2.0 usb port. Then my PSU is connected to the NZXT/ My Corsair H115i is connected to the NZXT/ my Front case 2.0 ports are connected to the NZXT/ My CP 2 each will be connected to the NZXT so that is 5 devices connected to the usb 2.0 NZXT expander. I hope this points you in the right direction Corsairs OEMs can be very lacking in the details. Now since the Asus IX formula only has one 2.0 usb port you will have to get an USB expander internal either the NZXT or a pci card for one of the open slots. Or if you get the Commander it has an two usb ports built in for expansion and pass thru. This is the one I went with https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub
  15. I am in the same boat just saved up to the 589.00 to buy everything to install fans. Not sure which way to connect. Note: The fan hub with the dual 140mm rgb fans is only for leds not the fans themselves. I also believe that if you purchased 120 dual or tri-pak with fan hub that came with it too is only for the leds. You may find your answer in my post some time ago about components needed to complete install linked here http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=168374
