  1. Ok thanks for the advice, I may try that, it's jus that this is the only USB peripheral exhibiting the problem, so I figured it was an issue with iCUE not fast boot.
  2. Yeah, it did it again this morning, when the PC starts it doesn't recognize the keyboard and the profile isn't launched and the iCUE task-bar icon is a red circle with white exclamation mark and if you open iCUE it says that no Corsair keyboard is connected. This is becoming a problem that is now happening on a weekly or more basis. The last time it happened was 5 days ago. Restarting the PC doesn't resolve the problem (I just restarted it 3 times in a row and lost my entire previous Chrome session in the process, hence being pretty ****ing pissed and feeling the urge to write this here) Only completely powering off the PC via PSU for 30 seconds resolves the issue (or physically disconnecting and reconnecting TWO USB cables, if I do this on a weekly basis I'm afraid of damaging the USB ports). This makes for a 10 minute affair first thing in the morning? Yeah not happy.

  4. Just google "flip your spacebar Corsair keyboard" If you were truly unaware that we had to resort to doing this because your space-bars hurt then you are truly out of touch with the consumer-base. https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=138032&t=138032 I've been doing this with my Corsair keyboards up until now (K70 and K65). Here's the problem, you can see the angle at which your thumb will strike the keyboard resting your palm on the palm rest: https://imgur.com/Xaz4SGQ https://imgur.com/Nnfsweo You can see that with the keyboard flat on the table the spacebar was designed so that it points up at ~30 degrees? I mean if it was just made so that it was parallel with the table (flat) it would mitigate most of this, as you can see from the pictures above, unless you hold your wrist in the air above the keyboard your thumb will strike the very corner of the spacebar (you can see how it is creating a pressure point on my thumb, I'm not exaggerating, after just a short while you don't want to continue typing, nor gaming with this keyboard, it's that painful) Inverting it creates the desired angle, so that your thumb is striking the actual flat part of the space-bar, not the very edge: Also, see how smooth that spacebar is? Yeah you designed the K70 MK.2 with some STUPID and completely unnecessary "anti-slip" aesthetic? surface: https://www.reckli.com/en/products/concrete-patterns/functional/reckli-2198-ripple-1-fold/ I'm not running around on a battleship at sea, there is NO need, whatsoever, for this stupid painful design. Please make a spacebar that is smooth that we can invert and / or that has an angle that is flush with the table and not jutting up into the air at 30+ degrees. It's as though you didn't even really test this thing with anyone, you just built it and said "yeah that looks cool" and put it up for sale. Nor do you actually listen to our feedback, because this has been a long-standing criticism of your keyboards going back to the original K70: (THAT stupid "anti-slip" surface, WHY? We aren't running around on a battleship, there isn't an issue of our thumbs slipping, at all, whatsoever, just make it smooth and at an angle flat with the table, I don't care if it doesn't look like the rest of the keys, because the way the thumb strikes the space-bar (side) is different than the way our fingers strikes the keys (finger-tips). So fail and fail? Why am I buying keyboards from you again? Last Corsair keyboard.
  5. I have a similar issue where my K70 MK.2 Low Profile Rapidfire isn't recognized by the PC (or iCUE) and I need to physically unplug and re-insert the USB cable(s), simply restarting the PC doesn't fix the issue. This happens on avg. once every few weeks. It isn't a big gripe, but it is annoying.
  6. I don't like the fact that unlike every other Corsair keyboard I've owned (K65 Lux, K70) I can't invert the spacebar this time around, and it feels like a Chinese torture device. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/277669-psa-flip-your-spacebar/ Corsair designed the spacebar so that the alignment faux keys are off center so if you try to invert it the faux alignment keys wont line up with the spacebar. I have no idea why they did this? https://imgur.com/a/fHdNQoy It's hard to tell by the picture, but if you look closely you will notice that the alignment faux keys on the board and the stems on the spacebar are just slightly lower than the actual space-bar key meaning that if you attempt to flip the space bar upside down they will not align. The design of the spacebar, especially when the keyboard is flush against the desk, means that your thumb is striking pointed surface. To add insult to injury, in their infinite wisdom they added a really painful, course grip texture to the spacebar. It's painful enough that you will need to cover this up with electrical tape. It's pointless, I'm not running around in the rain I don't need an anti-slip surface. Like this is seriously enough of a design flaw that I can't actually recommend this keyboard. There is no aftermarket spacebar and you can't invert it. Your only recourse of action is to put electrical tape on it, which looks and feels ghetto on a $170 keyboard. That they designed the spacebar alignment faux keys so we can no longer invert the space-bar, I have no idea why they felt the need to do this. Here you can see the angle at which the side of the thumb will strike the spacebar, right on a 90 degree angle pointed surface, after a short while your thumb will begin to hurt from this. You could previously flip the spacebar upside down so that the thumb is not hitting a 90 degree pointed surface: https://imgur.com/Xaz4SGQ https://imgur.com/Nnfsweo ITzMeYaKnow "It feels more natural having the spacebar flipped to me at least. I've been using a flipped spacebar on my quickfire rapid for months now and every other keyboard I use that doesn't have a flipped spacebar just doesn't feel right!" TheJosabloExactly "you fell like its digging in to your thumb." TzMeYaKnow "My thumb starts to ache and begins to hurt after awhile when it's not flipped." TheJosabloBecause "it digs in there when flat."
  7. I've had my K70 MK.2 Low Profile RapidFire for 6-9 months now and I have yet to break a keycap. Maybe it was an isolated issue? Also, if you purchase at Best Buy like I did they offer a no-questions-asked 2 year replacement plan that covers everything from failure of the unit to spills and drops etc. I picked up this keyboard for $100 on sale and the replacement plan was $10. It's a really good keyboard but I have some issues with it. I don't like the fact that unlike every other Corsair keyboard I've owned (K65 Lux, K70) I can't invert the spacebar this time around, and it feels like a Chinese torture device. Corsair designed the spacebar so that the alignment faux keys are off center so if you try to invert it the faux alignment keys wont line up with the spacebar. I have no idea why they did this? The other slight issue I have is the wrist wrest, which could be better. I do, however, have a lot less wrist pain / fatigue because of the low height of the keyboard. Overall I'm happy with it, I intend to replace the wrist-wrest with an aftermarket one from Glorious: https://www.amazon.com/Glorious-Gaming-Wrist-Pad-Rest/dp/B00V5AXPTW/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2CQOGUIU8IP64&keywords=glorious+wrist+wrest&qid=1564937632&s=gateway&sprefix=xbone+one%2Caps%2C203&sr=8-2 And I put electrical tape on the space bar. Really nice feel to the keys, especially the actuation distance.
  8. K65 RGB owner here. K65 RGB Low Profile please!!!! I love everything about the K70 Rapid Fire Low Profile except the fact that I can't stand keyboards with an irremovable numerical keypad as I prefer a large horizontal sweeping area for my mouse (+10 Key will interfere irrespective of the sweep area) as fatigue sets in quickly as I have to space my hands further apart on the desk. I find that I need to use the numerical keypad maybe 2-3 times a day so I don't mind their placement below the F keys on 10 Keyless. I wont trade the small footprint for a lower, more ergonomic wrist position and keys that have less travel distance, although it's a compelling proposition. You can afford to make a K65 variant of K70 Low Profile, youre not kidding anyone. Especially if you price it the same as a K70 as you will save money in the actual manufacturing of the product (less mechanical switches, their respective circuits on a shorter PCB). Ready and waiting with my wallet open.
