  1. Yeah you are probably right. Well my cpu stays pretty cool now even without icue, and the fans run, so I guess that means the pump is fine except for the busted usb connection. Although I’ve never dealt any vibration from it. Is there a way to know for sure the usb connection is faulty, other than eliminating all other possibilities?
  2. Thanks for all this. The H115i does fit in my case but it completely fills its area to the point where it’s partially blocking some of the grommets. I can get wires through them but it’s a pain. What do you recommend?
  3. Thanks DevBiker so you are saying it's safe to use? Also, I'm probably going to exchange it for a 240mm version, so I assume you recommend the H100i? Thanks
  4. I think I have a defective USB port on my H115i pump, as it doesn't show up in iCue. If it doesn't show up in iCue, does that mean the pump won't run? The fans spin and the lights are on. The reason I think it's the USB connection is I got it to show up once, by jiggling the cable, but it won't show up again on restart no matter what I do. My graphics card is arriving today and I wanted to do more intensive things on the machine, but not if it will fry my CPU. I plan on exchanging the H115i this weekend or Monday. Is it safe to use until I can return it?
  5. DevBiker, any recommendations on how to absolutely be sure? The other thing is I was thinking of swapping this, as a 280mm radiator, with a 240mm, as it's very tight in the case and restricting some cable access in the grommets along the top of the case. Do you have a recommendation for a 240mm AIO?
  6. Hmm, I only have Apple laptops; this is the only windows computer in the house.
  7. I've been struggling to get my H115i AIO to show up in iCue, or just in as a device in Device Manager or USBDevview. I have other threads on this on these forums. I was tinkering tonight -- I went into my BIOS and turned the Q Fan control (Asus motherboard) off for the CPU Fan, made sure that handoff setting was enabled, etc. Then on one forum thread someone suggested trying a different USB cable, like grabbing an standard micro-usb cable and plugging it into the pump, then into an external USB port. As soon as I touched the USB cable that came with the AIO it popped up in iCue. I restarted my computer, and it's gone, and I can't get it back. I tried swapping the cable, changing the USB header into which I plugged it, everything. Given that I got it working once by just shifting the cable attachment into the pump ever so slightly, and haven't been able to get it back, is it possible the USB port on the pump is just busted?
  8. Ah, I should have mentioned that. Yes the pump light is on, and the fans spin.
  9. Hi Corsair Mike, thanks for the reply. Not it's never shown up. This is a brand new PC build for me; I haven't even closed the case up yet. Edit to add, I asked a detailed question on the iCue sub forum, but haven't received any replies. And one random reddit post I saw said that installing the Link software fixed the issue in iCue for that user; I was going to try that when I get a chance.
  10. Im having the same issue, but I didn't update my firmware. This is a new PC build with Corsair Ram Corsair 3pack 120LL fans with RGB Hub and Node. Those other two products show up in iCue. The only difference I can see is no Corsair products show up in USBDevview for me. If you figure anything out, please let me know.
  11. I have an Asus Prime Z390A motherboard H1151 Platinum AIO Corsair RGB Ram (32GB) Corsair LL120 Fans (3 pack) 2 Non corsair stock fans 1 Fan Hub Can give other details if necessary. The AIO does not show up in iCue (or USBDevview), but the fans run and the lights are on. Can't tell if the pump is running properly. The Ram and LL120s show up and are controllable. This is a new PC build with very little software installed. The AIO is not hooked up to the RGB hub that comes with the LL120 3 pac, both wires coming off the fans are hooked into the wires coming off the pump . All the non-AIO fans are connected to a single fan header (CHA2) via the fan hub. I've tried unplugging the fan hub from both power and usb, and putting the AIO usb into the one used by the fan hub, but nothing changed (other than my non AIO fans stopped running). Any help appreciated.
  12. I just have my computer running I don't even see my H115i Platinum in USBdevview or iCue. However the fans are running and the lights are working. I also have 3 LL120RGB fans, and they appear to work just fine. I have an Asus Prime Z390A motherboard, core I7 9700k, and some Corsair RGB Ram (which also shows up in iCue). Now, I do have the LL120 fans all connected thru a fan hub, since my MOBO does not have enough headers for all my fans.
  13. I found a third SATA cable (sorry again for the mistakes) and am running the cooler and RGB hub on separate cables.
  14. Thanks again c_attack. I mispoke anyway, my fan hub connects to the 4pin connector coming out of the PSU, not a SATA. Anyway, all I have left is to put in my graphics card, then I get to turn this thing on! I have to wait until the kids go to bed but Im pretty nervous, never done this before. I hope it doesn't blow up.
  15. To be clear, what I bought is a bunch of wires, one part plugs into a fan header, one gets hooked up to a SATA connection, and the other 5 ends all go to the various fans. I don't know if that is classified as a hub, and I only bring it up to clarify my understanding. WRT SATA, on reddit a bunch of people said I can use each of the three connections for a different device. Now, I trust you more than I trust reddit, so can clarify? If I read your comment correctly, power the cooler on one cable, and put the rgb hub and node from my 3 pack on a different SATA cable? If that is correct can I connect anything else to the SATA that powers the cooler? My PSU only came with 2 SATA cables, a total of 6 available connections, and I need to power: 1. RGB hub from the 3pack, 2. Node from the 3 pack 3. Cooler from the H115i 4. USB2 hub 5. My fan wires, powering 5 fans (3 from the RGB 3 pack and 2 non-RGB fans if I need them) Also note the cooler will be plugged into the USB hub as its USB wire can't reach the MOBO headers. Finally, I have the H115i RGB Platinum cooling system. Does that change your final paragraph? After all my reading I *think* I have the option to either plug the two 140mm fans from the cooling system into the wire coming off the pump, OR, plug them into the RGB hub from my 3 pack, depending on how I want these synchronized. Oh, one more thing, I noticed my RBG hub fell off the case -- can I just use a different 3M command strip to put that back on? I know Im asking a lot and I really appreciate feedback from someone like yourself, who clearly knows WTF they are talking about :)
