  1. Hi, So my last aio (h100i rgb pro) pump died and as it was discontinued Corsair has sent me a h150i after rma. Installed with no issues, but the pump is considerably louder then the h100i ever was. I did have some weird whirring/gurling noises like an old hard drive, so I ran the pump on extreme the last 2 days and tiled the case a little. The water gurgling noise reduced but it still does sound like an old hard drive and the pump is still loud on quiet mode compared to the h100i. I have my pc on my desk about 80cm away and I can hear the pump whirr very clearly at idle, whereas my h100i was always whisper quiet when it worked. The pump is not the highest part of the system, I have the rad mounted to the front of the case with the tubes at the top. This pump is so much louder I'd honestly rather go back to the h100i. I've read the rpm for the new aios are much higher and so louder, can anyone with this cooler advise if mine is faulty or is this aio just much louder then the previous models?
  2. Hi, had this aio for about 3 years with no issues. Recently, the pump head has been making a horrible screeching noise thats so loud i can hear it over my game audio and case fans under load. I have a video of the noise at idle ([ame] [/ame]), excuse my clock ticking. Should I RMA this?
  3. Hi all, So I have the Lian Li Stimer Plus 24 and 8 pin set. I don't want to use the provided extension cables as A I don't have space and B the white takes away from my build and I'd just like to attach the rgb element to my sleeved cables. I have a Corsair premium cable kit, but the problem is these cables are too thick to fit in the Lian Li cable comb (16 awg vs 18awg according to the specsheets). Are there any individually sleeved cables that are thin enough to fit in the comb? The provided Lian Li ones are 18awg and 2mm (ish) diameter while my corsair ones are 3mm in diameter . I'm looking at the Cable Mod C series but I cant find the cable thickness anywhere. FYI I have a Corsair rm650x and I wish to use two 1:1 pcie cables for my gpu, rather than the dual connector one.
  4. My PSU (TX650M) is making a consistent clacking noise. I've verified its the PSU fan , I've removed the fan grill and checked to see if the fan is hitting anything and it's not. The noise is continuous, it's there while idle and becomes even louder during gaming. From what I've read online this is possibly a 'bad fan bearing' and that I'll need to rma it. I've not exactly had a great time with the rma process in the past and that's my last resort. Is there anything I can try or do I have to start an rma? Info that might matter: PSU has only been in use for just over a year (bought and installed November 2019) and it's still within warranty. Nothing overclocked or any excessive power demand. My psu is upside down to draw fresh air in from the bottom of the case (I have flipped it the other way and the noise wasn't at loud, but in this position it's fighting for fresh air with my gpu. This noise randomly started a week or so ago with no cause, I originally thought it was just my hard drive clacking away. The noise isn't incredibly loud, but its very noticeable and annoying as i have a zero rpm config. Under load its so loud i have to use a headset or turn up my volume to drown at the noise.
  5. I unplugged/replugged all the usb 2.0 cables and itdworking now. Lightning node pro is plugged in and detected via commander pro passthrough. Suspect Image the mistake of not plugging into the passthrough correctly. Thanks everyone for your help!
  6. I need the LNP purely because I'll have to do a horrible cable run to use the commander pro led channels. I realise that sounds like a stupid reason but it really messes with my ocd. The LNP was originally plugged into mobo (also works in hub) but now the Commander Pro is fighting for that usb 2 header, and I have no more spare, hence the need for the passthough. I also plugged in my H100i RGB usb 2 plug into the Commander Pro pass through and that didn't work. Has my Commander Pro got dodgy passthroughs? All I want is to be able to plug the LNP usb 2 into the Commander Pro usb 2 passthrough.
  7. So I've bought that exact hub you linked and its still not working. Plugged the hub into the mobo 2.0 header and then the Commander Pro into the hub. Commander pro is detected all the connected fans work fine but the pass through is still not working for the lightning node pro. Any suggestions?
  8. Hi all, My Lightning node pro not detected when plugged into commander pro usb 2 port (tried both ports) I've just purchased a commander pro so can i easily control the speed of my 6 LL120 RGB fans. So this was my previous layout (https://imgur.com/YlY1kSw). With the installation of the commander pro, all i've done is use the commader pro usb pass through (no spare usb 2 headers on mobo), so the current layout is like this (https://imgur.com/6HI30b6). In this set up no rgb detects, the fans spin but no rgb. There's no option to select a lighting node pro in the lighting set up for the commander pro. If i plug the fan hub and rgb strips directly into the commander pro led slots all the rgb works fine. I would rather have the fan hub and strips plugged into the lighting node pro because i have to do some nasty cable runs otherwise. Have i made a set up error or can i not have the lighting node pro plugged into via passthrough?
  9. Thanks for the clarification, I plugged the lighting node pro and fan hub into their own sata cable and the problem persists.
  10. No worries, the fans are plugged into #5 and #6 respectively. Upon some further fiddling, I've noticed the issue now occurs after switching profiles. By this I mean I can boot up the pc and the issue doesn't occur, but if i switch to another RGB profile on icue the static lights randomly occur. If i spam switching profiles the static colour goes, but then comes back again randomly. What do you mean by a new sata line? Do you mean use another sata power connector? Bit of a noob here
  11. All the fans are connected to the same rgb hub which is then connected to a lighting node pro. I did as you asked and the only the second aio fan (the one next to the exhaust) had the issue and the exhaust fan worked fine. However, once i plugged all the fans back in and booted again the second aio fan had the issue and the exhaust fan did not light up at all, despite working fine in port 1 of the rgb hub. Like I mentioned the static light issue seems to occur randomly.
  12. I have 6 LL120 RGB fans installed in my system During my boot up, sometimes some of my rgb fans will randomly become a static colour, and then remain that colour until i restart the pc. I can change lighting effects/profiles etc, but that static lighting will remain the same. The portion of fan that is static or which fan it is is random and I've noticed no correlation. I've attached a few pictures to show what I mean. Anyone know how to fix this?
