Corsair doesn't print the version # on the box (at least on mine), so it seems it would be difficult for a seller to know which version they're selling

I can't even get into the BIOS settings on my new build, and the DRAM error light comes on and stays on. I eventually found the version # on the memory module sticker, and it is 4.32. However, the DDR4 QVL for my mobo lists ver 4.23. So does anyone know if there's enough difference between 4.32 and 4.23 that it would prevent it from working in my motherboard? What IS the difference exactly?
