  1. The change to CoolIT happened since RGB platinum, so whatever the problem in Capellix it must have been caused by pump design changes after the pro XT. I have h115i RGB platinum installed and at 2200 RPM I couldn't hear the pump whine as shown in the video.
  2. The steel plate behind the motherboard is available for all types (both 5000X and 5000D airflow). I don't remember reviewers saying that there's a HDD tie in point there, maybe I haven't watched enough review videos. Even if there's pre-installed node core there you can simply remove and place it somewhere else if there's an indeed HDD tie in point. I plan to put all corsair lighting controller there if they can be fitted together on that plate lol. Me too, I'm planning to move to white PC build when I upgrade my CPU and motherboard. The 5000D airflow white case will be a strong candidate. Answers to your questions (as per my knowledge): - The panels are interchangeable (both front, top, and side). So you plan to left the front and side panel glass but remove the top and change it to the perforated panel? This idea came to me as well but finding Corsair replacement part in my country is almost impossible (plus Corsair don't provide shipping globally). - They will sell it as replacement part I believe
  3. I've been waiting for a white 360 AIO from Corsair. This will fit my future build that I have in mind.
  4. I don't think that will fit. I saw a reviewer complaining about this as well. When you install radiator on the side or install the other PSU cover, you can't slide the HDD cage to the left. That's the trade off I guess. I think the other way around this is to provide installation point on the place where 3 SSDs are supposed to be for 3.5" drive (only fit 1 though). SSD can be installed below the GPU anyway. Or you can just shove 1 HDD without the steel cage on the same place after you install all PSU cables, I think it will fit.
  5. Someone already said in this forum (based on Corsair reply to his/ her ticket) that fan control couldn't be adjusted lower due to hardware limitation. If that's the case, there's no possible way to change that via firmware.
  6. I'm going to post my newly found bug in this thread. Since update iCUE version 3.36.125, I noticed that my K95 XT RGB lighting animation froze during gaming (keypress still functional) and my MM800 polaris reverted back to rainbow. Tried to disconnect cables, restarted iCUE but in minutes it would show the same problems. Other Corsair devises (fans, LS100 LT100) were all fine. https://imgur.com/4SiyUBp Later I found out that it only happened for profile that is linked to a program. I was setting up animation for a profile to be paired with a game and noticed after I finished and changed back to desktop profile the K95 XT RGB still froze with the previous animation and MM800 reverted back to rainbow. There I report it here hopefully Corsair employees see this and maybe work on a fix.
  7. Hi, I noticed that my cooler rgb (both on pump head and the 2 ML RGB fans) is now flickering & not smooth even though the animation supposed to be a smooth transition of color. I tested it with default spiral rainbow (to make sure that it's not a special animation). I am running firmware v.1.01.15. So far I do not notice any difference on my ML RGB fans & LL fans connected to LNP or other Corsair devices (keyboard, stand, mousepad, LS100). I tried restarting iCUE & restarting my PC but the problem is still there. *Edit: it seems the problem is with the iCUE. I force-closed iCUE and suddenly the cooler's RGB returned to normal. Also for additional information since I updated iCUE to version 3.35.152 (2 days ago), it frequently closed by itself when I changed profiles or just doing something within iCUE.
  8. My LS100 starter strip came in today and after installing it, I encountered several problems and bugs with iCue. 1) my existing loaded profiles did not load LS100 lighting effects, I had to delete the profiles and imported again for the lighting effects to load. 2) video lighting straight up did not work at all. I tried several videos, wallpapers, etc. and the strip did not light up. Other functions such as lighting effects, audio visualizer works fine. Any idea?
  9. I am currently using WS2812b (external LED strips not Corsair official strips) for my setup and it works flawlessly. So I am interested to try SK6812 led strips which is basically similar with WS2812b with additional white LED to produce more "true" white lights (0,0,0,255 value when producing white light). So question is can ICUE control SK6812 led strip? Thank you before for any information provided.
  10. So you have plan for 4 more 140mm fans? I assume 2 top, 1 rear and 1 front bottom? For the type of fans, if you already consider LL fans then I'd suggest to go with QL fans since: 1) much more RGB, 2) node core instead of node pro (1 box instead of 2), 3) you use them as case fans. Though IMO it would be weird if you have another fans on the front bottom because you use pull configuration and you can only see 1 fan from the front. For the top and rear I'd install 120mm fans so that all spots can be populated (for aesthetic purpose). I have Phanteks Evolv X and it has the same fan/ radiator configuration as P600S and this is the configuration I use: http://https//i.imgur.com/a/t77wVn9.jpg H115i, 3 ML140 front (push pull AIO + 1 additional on the bottom front), 3 LL120 fans top exhaust, and 1 LL120 rear exhaust
  11. I own H115i platinum and quite surprised that elite capellix has some kind of hardware limitation that won't allow for firmware update to reduce speed. It's strange because the pump is also manufactured by the same manufacturer as platinum series (also elite capellix is touted as the premium AIO, high range speed control should be a feature). However, I do not hear any difference with quite and balance mode with my platinum cooler. The quite mode can indeed goes below 2000 rpm. It might be that my ears are tuned to the humming noise or yours are more sensitive to this kind of sound.
  12. Whelp that's unfortunate. I was hoping that it would fit with any Corsair keyboards for anyone who would like an upgrade.
  13. Will the new wrist rest from K100 and K60 keyboard be sold separately? Based on reviews, many said that the wrist rest is the nicest one that Corsair has made. Also will it be compatible to K95 XT (or other Corsair keyboards)? The one that came with K95 XT is okay but not great IMO.
  14. Pro XT, Platinum, and Elite Capellix have same pump design by CoolIt, whereas the Pro RGB uses pump from Asetek. At the end the cooling performance would be around the same because the cooling medium is the same, the noticeable difference is pump noise, max RPM on the provided fans (and so noise level at max RPM), and as you said RGB. I'd suggest to buy the nicer looking AIO (in your opinion), better if it's the newer generation as it would provide more longer support. Elite capellix if you can spend more $ provides 6 channel fan speed control which would be enough for all fans in standard ATX cases.
  15. If you mean the RGB fan hub that came with ML or LL fans, then sure you can plug the 3 pin to the JCORSAIR header on your motherboard. But it won't solve the all in 1 RGB control that you want, as the pump header is still controlled by icue as you mentioned. By the way mystic light sucks if you want to do effects because the control over individual LED is nonexistent. There is another way to sync RGB via software if you want.
