  1. I’m not sure if order matters but I was told to go from CPU chain to GPU then chain to Pump. Works fine for me. Maybe the leds in the pump got wet
  2. Hey buddy, Nice clean and simple build. Dont stress too much about cable management in the back, just use a lot of zip ties like I did.
  3. Just wanted to share my pc. First one I've ever built for myself and first time attempting custom water cooling. Specs: Case = Corsair Crystal 570x MB = MSI MPG Z390 GAMING PRO CARBON AC CPU = Intel i7 9700k GPU = MSI Ventus 2080S OC RAM = Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 4x8GB PSU = Corsair RM750x Fans = Corsair SP120 RGB Pro x6 All Corsair Hydro X Cooling parts with commander pro RIP my bank account but I every time I click that power button... can't get enough. https://imgur.com/gallery/YpzZMXR
  4. Yes the 2080 strix waterblock will fit and work with a asus rog strix 2080s. I used to run that but my gpu with defected and shorted itself out. Returned the gpu but no new ones were in stock at the time so now I have that waterblock sitting in my closet.
  5. I'm no expert but I'm running hydro x components and I'm not seeing any issues with my RGB. It sounds like there's a software issue either with ICUE or another software conflicting with the rgb lighting. My MSI dragon center conflicts with the rgb on my ram on startup, reset, and shutdown. My guess is to try to force update ICUE and also the commander pros and also look for any software that might conflict with rgb like your mobo softwares
  6. Hey there bud, I am running the XD5 pump in my build. To kinda answer your question, the brackets that comes in the package are used to mount where a 120mm or 140mm fan would go. There is also a seating kind of bracket that hold the pump. That seating bracket attaches to the mounting bracket which allows for (upwards & downwards) or (left and right) adjustments. I'm not familiar with your case, however if you know that your cases pump mount screw holes line up exactly with either a 120mm or 140mm fan then you should be set to use that pump mounting area. If it the cases pump mount screw holes arent fan sizes, then there is another option. The back of the XD5 seating bracket has mounting holes on the back side that are shorter in length but im not exactly sure the distance between the screw holes. I can upload a picture if youd like.
  7. I purchased 2 items from the corsair website. I got 1 out of two of the items but its been awhile and I have yet to receive the other item. I want to cancel the other item but I dont have the order number. The information I do have are the items I bought, the date, the credit card, billing and shipping address. If someone could assist me that would be great!
  8. Could there be any other reason why my fans aren't spinning on header 5? Software probably? I ran a 2 way splitter on header 5 fine for about a month. I didnt touch it and yesterday I saw that the fans weren't spinning. I tried other fans alone in header 5 and none of them spun up. I always shut down and flip switch on psu when working on the pc. Note I'm running 3 pin fans and not PWM 4 pin. In ICUE settings, I have fan 5 set to 3 pin
  9. A little information of my setup and back story: I have 6 sp120 rgb pro fans and a Corsair XD5 Pump. I used a 2 way PWM splitter to connect 2 fans into fan header 5 on Commander Pro. I read that you shouldn't use splitters and ended up learning the hard way. Fan header 5 isn't working anymore. Gonna try to get the Commander Pro replaced. So my question is how do I plug up 6 fans and 1 pump safely? I'm trying to have everything controlled in ICUE.
  10. 8 fans and 1 pump. Pump must go into Fan 6 of Commander Pro. Youll need to power 3 more fans. Now a risky route is to use PWM splitters. Why is it risky? Well there are a lot of cases where fan ports on the C-Pro die because of splitters. Mostly 3 way splitters but one of my ports died today from a 2 way splitter. Your safest route would be to grab another commander pro.
  11. You need a Lighting Node Core. You should have gotten one if you bought a pack of 3 fans. Also make sure youre running the same fans for all 6. Plug the bottom front fan into CORE port 1, middle front fan port 2, and work your way back. The rear fan should be port 6. This will give you the correct lighting effects. When all fans are plugged up to the CORE, plug the USB plug of the CORE into the Commander PRO USB port 1 and plug the CORE into sata power. All 6 fan power plugs should be plugged into the Commander PRO fan ports. Use the same order that you used for the CORE for simplicity. From there plug the Commander PRO USB plug into a USB 2 header on your motherboard.
  12. IM SO DUMB!!!!! I saw a post about changing the pin setting a couple days back but completely forgot to try this with the Y splitter. (didn't work with the Silverstone 8 fan hub) Everything is working perfectly now THANK YOU SO MUCH!
  13. Hello everyone, I just built my first pc and I'm having trouble controlling the speed of 2 of my fans. My setup goes like this. Lighting Node Core is connected to Commander Pro USB port 6 sp120 pro fans connected to Lighting Node CORE(all fans light up correctly) Fans 1-4 are connected to fan ports 1-4 on Commander Pro Fans 5&6 are connected to Rolesville PWM Y splitter which is connected to fan port 5 on Commander Pro Hydro X pump/res is connected to fan port 6 on Commander Pro and temp sensor is connected to Temp 1 port on Commander Pro Hydro X cpu, gpu, pump RGB are daisy chained and connected to LED 1 port on Commander pro. (all Hydro X parts light up correctly) My problem is that I cannot control the fan speed of fans 5&6. They run at max speed. Ive also tried a silver stone 8 fan hub. If anyone has a solution please let me know!
