  1. Corsair toolbox is showing 10TB writes which out of the advertised 400TBW is only 2.5% so 97.5% of life should be remaining. But Crystal Disk is showing 93% life remaining. Is there any logic behind this discrepancy?
  2. Thanks Zotty for input. It's a Corsair HX750. The reason for my op is that I'm going to take my pc to India and leave it there for use during my summer holidays (live in UK). The room where my pc wil be staying has no air conditioning so it can get hot. I'm only going to be using it for basic computing so load wise the fan shouldn't come on. I would like the fan to come on though if the temp goes up.
  3. Is it temperature or load that triggers the fan in Corsair PSUs with zero rpm fan mode?
  4. That's good to know. It's factory sealed so no chance of dust. I read somewhere that capacitors can leak if unused for prolonged periods, hence the concern.
  5. I just realized I had a brand new factory sealed Corsair PSU in the attic. It's a HX650 Gold. I think it's been there since 2010. Would any deterioration have occurred through none-use or would it be safe to use?
  6. How many temperature sensors are there in the HX1000i? AIDA64 shows two PSU temps where as iCUE only shows one?
  7. This is why I never buy hardware immediately after release.
