  1. there was no dirt, grime, or build-up within the trigger mechanism that depresses the switch... It was less than 33 days old when the problem presented, and the environment the system is in is spotless near 24/7. But beyond that, with it being in pieces it was pretty clear if there was grime or not.... Like many people have reported with no response from Corsair, the switch depresses and is audible. This is a hardware issue, either with the switch itself or the board/chip and circuitry assembly they are using. Look, I liked the overall appeal of the device... I wanted it to be the device I used, but its just badly built and there are a LOT of complaints about it. I would understand if this was common among peripherals but it isn't. The ones these replaced were 8 years old and working fine... They were tired-looking, but operational...
  2. Nice try patronizing my professional abilities, the unit was less than a month old when the malfunction started. The button was *not* raised, warped, or malformed... in fact, you could hear the depression of the switch occurring, whether it registered the input or not. Don't be a fanboy, the company is making bad products and should be held accountable.
  3. So another day, another user impacted by Corsairs ridiculous left-click failure... Something that, by the way, dates back over two years now.... That's 24 months at MINIMUM that Corsair has known of these issues and has left their users without a recall, refund, or replacement solution... So, my cautionary backstory to anyone here who is having the issue: In August, I rebuilt my gaming machine. New build, new peripherals.. figured why not, it had been 8 years since my last build and my razer accessories, while working 100% flawlessly, were very aged.... I decided to give Corsair a try because I liked the looks of their K65 and the K70 M.2, both of which are not the highest end products offered on the market - but they are FAR from cheap. By September, nearly a day outside my return policy, my left-click functionality became unpredictable. At first, I thought it was just me not paying attention to what and where I clicked, something that can happen if the DPI is up. So I lowered the DPI and kept at my daily activities.... As the weeks go by, the clicks become more and more unpredictable with input.... Here we are in November, just barely 90 days out of the purchase, and the M65 RGB Elite is basically a dumb, useless paperweight that misses anywhere from 30-45% of all left-click input. Now, this is absolutely abysmal for games... Much less to say that during the day, I am a Systems Engineer and my gaming rig doubles up as one of my developer machines... The frustration is noticeable in gaming, bu it is glaring UI inputs where clicking is necessary. I would miss fields, not select drop-downs, not check boxes, etc... and as time went on the problem got worse. So I go back and start doing my homework... ....And it turns out this is an aged problem. It spans YEARS on the Corsair products, and people of several makes, models, and revisions are impacted. Corsairs only option is an RMA, which means you're out an input peripheral the whole time it is gone. Just submitting the RMA request took SEVEN DAYS for a response from someone.... Then I was told to expect 2 to 4 weeks without a device. Two to four weeks... Without an input device... Over a known issue... They refuse to fix, for going on three years... So I had enough. I gave Corsair a shot. I liked the look and the general feel of the build. But the product is garbage and the support is worse. I presume the K70 will also fail, given the companies seemingly incoherent ability to make reliable products... I will say this, the M65's build quality was solid. I work out of a room with a concrete floor, and when I threw the pile of garbage down on the floor as hard as I could... it only broke into two pieces. I was equal parts impressed and bummed - Given the money I wasted on such a junk product, I kinda wanted a glorious explosion. All i got was a few busted pieces and some wires. I'll never use Corsair products again... And while I know my influence isn't terribly far reaching, I'll share my experience with people I do know and firmly reject their purchasing of any products from Corsair... I am ashamed in this company... I gave good, hard-earned money for a product that started failing nearly immediately... Then research told me this is wide-spread and goes back years. How horrible.... Thanks for nothing, I guess... Off to left-click on as many things as I can now, just cos I can with 100% success....
  4. I am also having this same issue... which is why I am bumping this post. Has anyone found a working solution?
  5. Same here but mine is less than a month old... yet outside Best Buy's return policy period.... Now I cannot guarantee left mouse clicks on a device I literally have had 28 days... I feel ripped off, honestly.
