  1. I think it is the firmware. When the HARPOON RGB PRO mouse had its double-click issue, it was caused by the firmware. After subjecting affected users to an extremely frustrating process reverting to an older firmware, Corsair then released an updated firmware that still had that serious issue. Some users found that out the hard way: I mention that as a warning. As I said, I think it is the firmware, but honestly, it doesn't matter to me. I really am done with Corsair. Besides issues with the mouse and keyboard, I have two Corsair headsets with serious issues (totally nonfunctional sidetone--and yes, my K70 keyboard did originally type "((" just now). I found out on these forums that those issues have existed for YEARS and no fix is in sight. With the exception of one headset that my company paid for, I'm going to destroy all of my Corsair hardware with a 4-pound sledgehammer as soon as I obtain replacements. Yes, I'm serious. It's going to be cathartic. I'm seriously considering recording it on video and putting it on YouTube. This nonsense is inexcusable. It is not normal for hardware to behave this way, and for the response to be so poor. To be clear, I don't blame the support reps (of course). I appreciate their help. It's the people working on the firmware, and primarily Corsair management, who have my ire. Good luck. You'll need it.
  2. I'm over it. I'm going to replace all of my Corsair hardware. This is untenable and inexcusable. The days of Corsair causing me frustration, anger, embarrassment, and wasted time are coming to a close. I'm also going to put word in to the acquisition team in my organization to avoid Corsair products in the future.
  3. I'm coming off a similar issue with a HARPOON RGB PRO mouse which involved the mouse double-clicking for each single click. Now I'm seeing the same type of thing with my K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE keyboard. Sometimes--not always, but often--the keyboard issues two Delete events when the Delete key is pressed a single time. The same thing happens with the "(" key. It's running v3.08 firmware, which is the latest, according to iCUE v4.17.244. Is it just me? Is there any fix? I've accidentally deleted work emails this way. It's unacceptable and beyond maddening.
  4. I fixed the issue by flashing back to the v3.11 firmware that Corsair support emailed me. Note that I had to use iCUE to do the flashing, as the method of flashing advised by Corsair support bricked my mouse. Now I also see that v3.13 firmware is available for the Harpoon, I'm tired of dismissing the update notices for it (WHY can't I dismiss them permanently?), and (astonishingly) it has the same issue, according to users who posted here:
  5. I'm so angry to come here and find that this has been a known issue for years. I recently bought a Void RGB Elite USB, and sidetone does not work at all. I can't hear myself through the headset AT ALL during Zoom calls, and it drives me nuts. The only reason I bought the Void was that I had the same issue (and other issues) with an HS70 headset. So now I'm approaching $200 in sunk costs for headsets that suck.
  6. The issue with my mouse is now resolved, after reverting to Harpoon RGB Pro firmware v3.11. Also, for some reason, the method of updating the firmware by unplugging the mouse, pushing the pinhole button while plugging it in (to mount the mouse's flash storage as a drive in Windows), and then manually copying the desired firmware to the flash storage, did not work. It bricked my mouse and also prevented iCUE from seeing it. Instead, what worked for me was flashing the v3.11 firmware using iCUE 4. For anyone who tries the pinhole method of applying firmware, I urge you to move the existing firmware (Firmware.bin) to your computer, rather than simply deleting it from the mouse's mounted flash storage. Doing this is the only reason I was able to revert to the v3.12 firmware and have a functional mouse that I could then update with iCUE. Had I simply deleted the v3.12 firmware from the mouse, iCUE would not have recognized it afterward, and the mouse would now be trash. Thank you to Corsair Blade and Corsair Fer.
  7. I was going to edit my message to tone it down and correct my comment regarding iCUE since I misunderstood that, but I can't edit it. All day at work I've been dealing with this double-clicking mouse. During screenshares. During meetings. Looking like an idiot in front of people. Having to explain to them what is going on. CAN. SOMEONE. PLEASE. POST. THE. 3.11. FIRMWARE???
  8. I just updated my Harpoon RGB Pro to v.3.12 the other day, encountered this issue, have now wasted HOURS of my time troubleshooting it... AND NOW I FIND THAT PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS ISSUE FOR OVER A MONTH. Why is the firmware still being pushed if it's known to have a serious issue that many users are experiencing? I'm not doing all those steps listed above regarding iCUE. It won't help anyway. Why would it? The issue occurs even without iCUE or its services running. I've tried the "Force Update", and all it does is reinstall the buggy v3.12 firmware again.
  9. I have this same issue with a Harpoon RGB Pro, since updating to the v3.12 firmware. I just followed your advice but unfortunately it did not work. It's still using v3.12 and the issue is still present.
  10. Please ignore this. Can a moderator please delete this? I guess I posted this in the wrong forum? I created a new thread (link below) but now I can't delete this one. https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/172023-double-clicks-when-single-clicking-harpoon-rgb-pro-mouse/
  11. I recently began seeing this extremely annoying issue: The mouse double clicks when I am single-clicking. I'm running iCUE 4.14.179 under Windows 10 21H1. This issue occurs even when iCUE is not running. I have no other software that messes with the mouse. Since this happens with both the left and right buttons, I don't think it is a hardware issue. I've already tried removing all the "HID-compliant mouse" drivers and forcing them to be re-installed. I'm not sure the firmware is at fault, but I think the issue started after I updated the mouse to firmware v3.12. Is there a way I can obtain the previous firmware version so I can revert to it? I'm not seeing it available for download.

  13. I had only just installed iCUE--cleanly--it installed successfully, and I'm not inclined to repair the install. So the middle button double click should work... But it doesn't. I don't have other software interfering. I had used a macro to assign Alt+Tab to the back button (not the reverse). It would be bizarre if iCUE let me do this, but it's not allowed or is otherwise unworkable. Screenshot attached. I'm at a loss as to what this software is good for.
  14. I'm running iCUE 4.12.214 on Windows 10 20H2. Please see the attached screenshot. I'm simply trying to map the "Back" mouse button to Alt+Tab, and the "Middle Click" button to "Left Double Click". But neither is working--nothing at all happens when these mouse buttons are pressed. What am I doing wrong here?
